"Congratulations! You have completed the trial. Welcome back, warriors." Sera, the Goddess of History and Knowledge, smiled at the arrival of the nine people in the Land of Hope.
"Isn't there any food for us?" Arvhie asked and walked past the Goddess.
Sera frowned.
"You didn't miss me?"
"No one would miss you." Arvhie answered.
"I do!" Francis exclaimed and cheerfully ran towards Sera. They hugged each other as if they haven't seen each other for a very long time.
Well, that's true. Eight whole months were gone in their adventure. Eight months of fighting and survival.
"Oh, I forgot. We brought the whole crew." Francis spoke and broke their hug. Isa-isa niyang pinakilala ang mga kasama niya.
"That's Cedrick. The blinding light." He introduced. Maliit na ngiti lang ang pinakita ni Cedrick bago magtago sa likod ni Neil.
"Reden, the determined leaves." Reden smiled widely as he loudly ran and hugs Sera. Ngunit pinigilan siya ni Athena by grabbing his clothes' collar. Probably dahil sa secondhand embarrassment na mararamdaman niya sa kaplastikan ni Reden.
"Kenneth, the austere rock." Kenneth smiled and bowed to the Goddess.
"At your service."
"Ohh, what a gentleman." Sera commented and giggled. Mabilis na nabura ang malaking ngiti sa mukha ni Reden nang makitang tila kinikilig si Sera kay Kenneth.
"Tanginang to."
"Athena, the festive waters." She smiled. "How about a battle? I'll give you a handicap." Said by a fighting addict.
"That's a goddess you're fighting, Athena." Kenneth commented while awkwardly smiling. Mukha yatang siya na ang nakakaramdam ng secondhand embarrassment ngayon.
"That handsome guy over there. He's Lance. The frightnening lightning." Francis giggled. Nakatayo si Lance sa may di kalayuan habang nakasandal sa isang puno. Para ba itong may sariling mundo at walang pakialam sa nangyayari sa paligid niya.
"Ouch!" Masama niyang tinitigan si Arvhie nang makaramdam siya ng nakakapasong init sa braso.
Pero hindi niya alam na kanina pa pala sa kanya nakatingin ang lalaking malakas ang moodswing.
"Problema mo?!" He mouthed.
Ngunit nginusuan lang siya nito at itinuturo na siya ang problema niya.
"Gwapo nga talaga siya. But why is he there?" Sera asked.
"Ayaw niya kasi sa maingay." Pabulong na sagot ni Francis sa kanya. Though totoo naman iyon, pero ang totoong rason ay hindi pa talaga natatanggap ni Lance na dito siya nabibilang at hindi sa lugar na ginawa ng adoptive father niya.
"That's Sean, the warmhearted Ice." Francis continued introducing their crews.
"Long time no see, Goddess Sera." Sean greeted her. Sera's eyes were filled with overwhelming longingness. She subconsciously hugged Sean as tears fell down her eyes.
