Chapter 15

The day of the mission has finally arrived. Despite being nervous, the team decided to implement the plan. Nevertheless they are the only ones capable of doing this mission.

"Lighten up, Reden. Relax." Kenneth whispered on his ears. The plant manipulator just awkwardly smiled. Hindi nito alam kung paano sasagot. Gustuhin niya mang lumandi, he's being tied down by his nervousness. Masyado siyang kinakabahan sa gagawin nila.

"Coward bitch." pambibwisit ni Athena.

"Hoy! Magrelax ka nga, baka magkalat ka mamaya ha." Paggatong pa ni Francis.

Reden was left with no other choice but to force himself to relax.

As they walk their way to the entrance of the city, the whole group stayed silent. After their small talk earlier is a wide silence that held for as long as they reached the entrance.

There aren't a lot of people near the entrance of the city. It is as if the whole city is in isolation from the rest of the world.

"This might be why the family chose this island to inhabit and lead. So they can do whatever they can without the knowledge of the world." Everyone thinks this. It seems that they continue to unlock a lot more mysteries surrounding the whole island.

"Warm welcome, Mr. Scotte." said by the man in suit standing just in front of the gate. "I am here to deliver you to the Beele's Residence." He said as he slightly bow his head in gretings.

"This way, please." the man exclaimed and walked forward. The group has nothing to do but to follow.

As Arvhie leads, Francis acts as his butler while Cedrick is his secretary. The remaining members act as the bodyguards. Due to the restriction that only limited is allowed to enter the mansion, the bodyguards took the opportunity to dig deeper about the city and the family that runs it.

"Hahaha! Finally, the richest rat is here. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Arvhie Scotte." He laughed as he greets the visitor. "I heard you're young but I never expected that you'll be this...type of a kid." He then again laughed as if he has unleashed a viral joke that can battle head-to-head against the best stand-up comediennes of the world.

Surprisingly, Arvhie is a rich man; the richest man in the country, it is.

He is an adopted child of the Scotte family and when the head died, the company and all their assets have been transferred to him. Though he wants to keep his wealth a secret, he's forced to run out from his hiding.

"It is also a pleasure to meet the dictator." Arvhie calmly yet authoritatively said. He reached out his hand for a greeting.

He sure does not want to be overpowered. He wants to keep things his way. Francis secretly smiled.

"You have a bit of a foul mouth there, bud." claimed the man as he pertains to Arvhie as inferior to his.

"It is quite a surprise that you're here. I thought you want to hide for all your life?" the man again claimed. He sat on the coach inside his office and offered his visitor a cigarette.
