Chapter 10

 The big game is here, I'm nervous, my family is in the crowd and my mom has the video camera with her, great, she is gonna capture my failure, I don't want her to tape it. I'm shaking like a leaf and I don't know if I can do this now, I don't want to do this anymore. I just look at the crowd and there are so many people here, I did not think a school team would have that large off a crowd and I feel nervous and nauseous and faint, all at the same time.

"hey, are you OK?" I get asked and I turn around and to my horror Simon is standing behind me

"y-y-yeah-h" I manage to stutter out

"nervous?" he asks as he smiles at me, he has such a nice smile.

"yeah" I nod as I try to not make things awkward. 

"don't be nervous, the crowd will cheer you on, get it cheer, because you are a cheerleader" he says and laughs, I just stare at him in shock, why is he talking to me, how do I act, I don't know what to do.

"thanks" I mutter

"I'm serious, don't be nervous, you are gonna be fine" he tells me as he pats me on my back and then he walks off to join the rest off the guys from the football team as the sit down on the bench, we are up first and they are making sure that everything is ready and putting down the spring mat that we are gonna use to cheer on. I look up to my family in the stands and my mom gives me the thumbs up, I can see my sister is smiling, she is gonna be here when she is older, I just take a deep breath.

We are done with our routine and it went really good, I enjoyed it very much, the crowd was cheering for us, that feeling was unbelievable, it find Vikk in the crowd off people and smile to him as he gives me a thumbs up, I then look out to the football pitch and I see Simon warming up, he meets my gaze and gives me a warm smile and a thumbs up, I can feel the butterflies in my stomach start going around and around.

"good job Harry, you did really good" my coach tells me and I snap out off my Simon related thoughts.

"thank you" I smile as I take a seat next to Vikk, we don't have to sit on the bench, we just need to be on again at half time to do a couple off tricks and stunts for the crowd, and honestly I'm buzzing to get out there again, it was such a rush, people are cheering and even if it was very stressful, I enjoyed it and can't wait to go on at half time, but now I can just sit and relax for a bit, and I now get to watch Simon do his thing.
