Chapter 6

Me and Vikk have been hanging out the hole week, I really like him, and he is a very nice person. I'm actually so happy that I spotted the table he was sitting on and that I had decided to join him, I did not feel so alone anymore and even if Vikk was not in any off my classes, because he is a year older than me, we still hang out every lunch time, we are both shy and do not know many people so it workesout great for us both. 

Today was a very different day though, there was a big game next Friday and the hole school was going to the football pitch later today for some pre game chants, and watching the players train and some bullshit. I did not understand it, but I went along with it. Because everyone in the school was talking about it. 

"why are we doing this?" I ask Vikk as we sit in the stands, the first team and the B team are going head to head.

"just a bit off fun really, they do this all the time, the guys on the B team are trying to impress and the first team are all trying to keep there place in the squad. It get's really intense and competitive" Vikk tells me as I just nod, I like sports so I already know that I will enjoy this.

"when are they starting?" I ask

"in a few minutes, the cheerleaders are gonna preform first, just to get in some practice for the upcoming weekend and then they will treat it like a normal game, but it's only 45 minutes, not the full 90 minutes because they have a game in the next week and they don't want any injuries" Vikk explains to me, I find this all sort off ridiculous, but it should be fun.

The cheerleaders were good, it's incredible what they can do, I just see my sister when they are doing this, she is in cheer and she could be doing this in a few years. I'm not into girls, but I've not told anyone that yet, but I enjoy what they are doing, and I really want to do that. 

"they are actually sick!" I whisper to Vikk who is staring at the girls dancing around and doing all kinds off flips, to my surprise there were a few boys in the cheer squad as well

"yeah they are" Vikk looks at them in awe

"can boys cheer here to?" I ask him

"yeah, thinking about joining?" he asks me

"yeah actually, I used to do gymnastics, I just stopped last year because off my shoulder, and my sister is cheering as well"

"go for it, they have trials next Monday" Vikk informs me, should I go for it, I want to try, but I also don't want to make a fool out off myself, but since there are already a few guys in the squad then what is the harm off me trying out, Then we hear a loud bang and the football teams run out on to the field, and I just gasp as I see one particular boy, he might just as well be the prettiest boy I've laid my eyes on, I can't see what the name on the back off the shirt is and I really want to know his name, because I might have to internet stalk him when I get home.

"Vikk who is the blonde nr 7" I ask

"that is Simon Minter, he is the captain and the top goal scorer" he tells me and I'm crushed, if he is one off the most popular boys in the hole school then I don't even stand a chance, and who am I even kidding, he is not even gay, you can just tell by the way he is looking over to the cheerleaders, but that just makes me more determined to be one off them, If I'm one off them then he might give me a chance.

Simonscored a hat-trick and the crowd went insane, he was actually so good, thefirst team beat the B team 7-2 and they had dominated the hole time, there hadbeen a couple off standout players from the B team that had been invited toplay in the game next weekend, and I saw them celebrate, I would love to be a partoff a team like that, I'm gonna go for it, I'm gonnatry out for the cheer squad.
