*Eric's P.O.V.*
I watched (Y/N) leave the cafeteria, tears forming in her eyes. Kyle didn't seem to notice. He was too busy bitching to Stan about God only knows.
This is working so much better than I expected. Kyle will run to her rescue, and they'll grow even closer.
Kyle suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong man?" Stan asked.
"(Y/N)...I don't see her," he replied.
"Probably just talking to a teacher or something," Stan suggested.
Kyle shrugged it off and went back to eating.
My grin was evident, but only Butters seemed to notice.
"Everything okay?" he asked.
"Perfect," I replied.

*Your P.O.V.*
I didn't talk to anyone for the rest of the day. I just put my headphones in, and others seemed to get the message that I didn't want to be bothered. Or they just didn't find me worth bothering.
Right after school, I went straight home. I often stop by Tweek's family coffee shop, but not today. I avoided anyone and everyone. I even ignored all of Kyle's texts.
When I got home, I sat in my room. I turned on some music, light some candles, and just sat in there. I sat there for hours, trying to think of how this could've gone better.
Kyle approached me. I didn't ask for this. I didn't seek him out. I didn't mean to intrude. She was right when she said she'd been talking about Kyle since day one because she had. I should've just told her she could have, but I couldn't. I kind of wanted him. I cost all my friends for a this boy.
Two hours. I spent two hours rethinking the same thing and continuously blaming myself. It would've gone longer if I wasn't interrupted by a ring.
"Hello?" I answered.
"(Y/N), you're alive," Kyle sighed.
"Yeah," I shrugged.
"You haven't replied to any of my texts since lunch," he panicked.
"I didn't pick you to be the clingy type," I commented.
"Well I didn't imagine you to play hard to get," he added.
I let out a forced laugh. I wasn't much in the mood for friendly banter.
"Hey look, we just got out of practice. Is it okay if I shower and head over?" he asked.
I thought about it for a second. Because of him, I no longer have friends. Also I'm not in a real chipper mood. Should I really let him come over? Ignoring him won't make my friends come back. The damage there is already done. Honestly, Kyle's all I got left.
"I guess if you wanna," I replied.
"I do actually," he responded. "I'll see you in a half hour or so."
"See you then," I said before hanging up.
I looked around the dark room.
Great, now I have to make it look like a sad fuck doesn't live here.
