My heart was racing.

Who could've cared enough to come see me?

A nervous blonde stumbled into my room, twiddling his thumbs, and my heart melted.

Butters...

"(Y/N), are you- are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm doing better," I replied.

He rushed to hug me, "Good, because I don't want to go another day, knowing that you aren't okay."

During that hug, a tear escaped me, and then another came and another.  Before I knew it, both of us were bawling.

*Eric's P.O.V.*

I went over to (Y/N)'s right after school.  My hands began to sweat as I approached the door.

What am I doing?  I didn't even have a plan.

Just as I turned around, Butters exited the house.

"Eric?" he questioned.

I turned back  to face an angry Butters.

"You better be here to fix what you broke," he frowned.

I was shocked by the sternness that lingered in his voice, "Butters-"

"No.  Don't you dare try to trick me into feeling bad for you or turn against her again.  (Y/N) is a nice girl.  She did nothing to you, so you need to stop.  Stop all of this and tell her what you did," he commanded.

I don't think I had ever seen Butters be this assertive, but putting that aside, he was right.  I broke someone who I had no reasoning to break.

I sighed and pushed past him to knock on the door.

"Yes?" her mother answered.

"Hi, I'm Eric, and I go to school with your daughter.  I came to see how she was doing," I smiled.

Her eyes narrowed, "There was an Eric mentioned in the note she wrote.  Were you the one making all the comments?"

I gulped, "Mrs. (L/N), I must sincerely apologize for all the comments I've made at your daughter.  I was just messing around, but I now realize that none of it was funny.  I didn't want to say anything, but I'm really here to apologize to your daughter.  I never knew what was going on," I apologized.

She gave me a skeptical look, " Go ahead, but I swear to God you hurt my baby-"

"That is not my intention at all," I assured her.

She licked her lips, "Up the stairs, the first room to the right."

I hesitantly walked into the house and up the stairs.  I knocked on her door and let myself in.

"Cartman?" she questioned. "What the hell are you doing here?"
