Chapter 1

Genie woke up on a cold brittle winter morning. School was cancelled because of snow, but she had no intention of doing anything productive. She looked at her TV, to her dresser, and then back to her TV. She would much rather watch Netflix than get ready for the day. After all, she had nothing better to do.

She turned on the TV, and before her, inside the TV, was the Doctor and the TARDIS on an otherwise white screen. It wasn't just Doctor Who, the channel wasn't even BBCA. So how was he there? Genie recalled the episode 'Blink' with Sally Sparrow. Was this an Easter egg? She opened the DVD player. Nothing. Nope. Not even possible. She turned around and started to get ready, despite her unwillingness to. She thought she was going crazy.

"Hello? Is anybody there?" said a British voice. The Doctor's voice.

"Wha-?" she started to say. But she was cut off.

"Oh, good! Martha, somebody's here! Outside!"

Martha was with him? She was her favorite companion! But how? She was played by an actress in real life. This wasn't even obeying common sense.

"Oh, you mean outside the Telly you got us stuck in?" Martha said sarcastically as she came into view. She walked up to the TARDIS and patted it's side. "Well, I'm glad. Who is it?" she asked.

"I don't know. Oi! What's your name?"

Genie didn't respond. She was staring at the TV thinking how in the world. Oh my gods. By the angel. Di immortales! Were all her other fandoms real? As a blogger, she couldn't even imagine.

"Hello?" the Doctor said.

"It's Genie. Genie Diamond." she finally said.

"Genie Diamond? How lovely!"

"Doctor! Stop complimenting her and tell her how to get us out of here!"

"Right! Okay, Genie Diamond, use the remote and type in these numbers. It should r-"

"Rotate the pixels and transport you out here?" Genie finished.

"Yes! Wait-How do you know that?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Oh, believe me you won't believe anything I tell you about me."

"We'll see..." Genie murmured. He really had no idea.

"The numbers?" Martha said impatiently.

"Right again, Martha! Numbers: 17234901-star." He murmured something to Martha and they both walked inside the TARDIS.

Genie typed the numbers in on her remote, making sure to add the star at the end. When she was done, the TV suddenly shut off. She waited, but nothing happened. She then was very depressed. Maybe it had just been a daydream. Maybe she was dreaming. She jumped on her back onto her bed and blew a raspberry. This sucked.

A blue object appeared in the room, then disappeared just as quickly. Genie gasped. So it hadn't been a dream!

When the TARDIS fully solidified, the Doctor stepped one foot outside with Martha standing behind him.

"Well, Genie Diamond, thank you! We'll just be going now."

The Doctor turned around.

"Wait!" she yelled. He couldn't just leave! "Let me come with you! Show me the stars! I want to travel through all of time and space in the TARDIS!"

"Wha-? How do you know all that?" the Doctor asked, baffled.

"Wow, are you in for a treat!" she said smiling as she ran excitedly into the TARDIS.

"What? What?" the Doctor repeated staring after Genie. Inside, Genie fangirled. He said 'What?'!
