After sitting around for a bit I stand up. Velon and Snow stand up too. "So let's get moving. I wanna get home as soon as possible." I mumble as I look up to the ceiling. "Wait a second, how strong is the ceiling?" I ask as Snow laughs. "I'm not sure, but are you thinking of just ripping through the floors?" She asks laughing slightly. "The idea did cross my mind." I whisper as I close my eyes. "Alright. Velon, Snow, channel some of your energy into me. I'll use your energy and my own to attack the ceiling." I say as I look at them. Velon nods and Snow sighs. "Alright." They say at the same time. They put their hands on my back and I feel a decent amount of energy channel into me. "Alright." I pop my neck. I quickly channel all my energy, along with theirs, into my mark of power. I feel a lot of energy course through every fiber of my being. I draw power from Yaguya and grow 2 large white wings. I fly upward and summon evony. A few seconds later I swing toward the ceiling and the energy cuts right through it. I swing a flurry of swings upward and fly through all the falling debris from several floors. Within a few minutes I'm nearly 60 floors higher than I was before. I feel my energy starting to deplete so I call on more energy from Yaguya. I easily make it through another 40 floors. As my energy is starting to fail. I send the rest I have straight up. A funnel 40 feet wide of energy rips through several floors before vanishing from sight. My body feels limp as I plummet down through all the floors I cut through. I can't move or talk. I struggle to move any part of my body. Suddenly I get caught. Snow is holding me with 2 large white wings on her back. She channels a little bit of energy into me. "Kai, maybe I should've told you before, but this tower eats energy whenever it touches a surface of the tower. Meaning it was eating through nearly 600% more energy than normal." Snow says while smiling. She flies over to a part of a floor still attached to the wall. "But Yaguya's energy also broke down a lot of the bonds between the floors. Meaning they crumbled easier. But there's only about 20 floors left intact." Snow says as I smile. Suddenly Velon appears next to us. He quickly grabs both our wrists and teleports. I notice we're on the top floor that I broke though. "So 20 left from here." I mumble as Velon laughs. "Gotta admit, this tower in full of energy, I'm surprised that it was that easy." Velon says as he looks up. He grabs us and teleports up to the stairs that lead into the next floor. As we walk to the top we see the floor is empty. Just a extremely large white room. No stairs or anything. We look back and the stairs have vanished. "Well this is interesting." Snow says ands she draws her sword. We all hear Azura laugh as a staircase lowers from the ceiling. We breeze through the next 18 floors. "1 floor left." Snow says as I nod. "This was much easier than I expected." I say as we walk up the final staircase. Our energy is being suppressed. After several minutes we arive at the top floor before the roof. "Shit." Velon says as we all see Azura sitting on a throne in the middle of the room. "This tower is weaker than the battle room you were in before, Kai." Azura says as she stands up. "Your final test is to defeat me and climb to the roof." She says as we all ready our weapons. As I blink she appears above us. Before I can react she stomps on my shoulder the spins around, dislocating my arm and kicking Velon in the face. She jumps off and summons a scythe. She attacks us quickly and we barely block anything. She swings her scythe toward my neck but Velon, Snow, and I all block it. We all get knocked back to the far wall. Velon and I enter our 4th releases and Snow enters her 3rd. We all attack simultaneously. Azura jumps up and blocks my sword with her left foot, Velon's with her right foot, and Snow with her scythe. We can't even touch her. How the hell can we win this?! I think as a wave of energy emits of Azura and knocks us all to the wall again. As we stand up she appears in front of us. "I'll stop holding back." She says as she holds up her hand. We all float off the ground with our arms outstretched. "I'll may have been given the name Azura. But I gave myself another title." She says as she smiles evily. Suddenly she cuts her forearm with her scythe then tosses it aside. She pops her neck as blood floats out of the wound on her arm. They change shape and turn into crystal like objects. "I'm the Blood Queen." She says as they split off into to thousands of bloody splinters them shoot into body. An intense pain shoots through me as I vomit blood. My eyes widen as I see my blood flowing out of my wounds and floating around her. I black out but wake up like I blinked. I'm sitting at a table next to Velon and Snow. "Is this a dream?" I mumble as I see Azura across the table sipping on tea. "No Kai, it isn't. I drained you of a lot of blood so you'd pass out, then I gave you most of it back. But I did replace about 10% of the blood I took with my own. Now please, enjoy. It's a little celebration for beating the tower." She says as I stare at her. "Wait, what? We beat the tower?" I ask as she smiles. "Yes, the goal wasn't actually to reach the top." She says as I look at the food and drink on the table. "Then what was the goal?" I ask as she smirks. "To show you how much you need to train. The future is the key, and the key is turning to open a door that leads to nothing but death." Azura says as I look at Velon and Snow. "So why aren't they reacting to any of this?" I ask as Velon looks at me. "Well, I've been friends with Azura for a few hundred years, she filled me in on this plan when she brought you here." He says as I stand up. "Your several hundred years old?! I though you were like 21 or something!" I yell as Snow laughs. "Well I'm technically 600 years old. I just look 18." Snow says as I gasp and look at her. Azura speaks up. "Kai, you have barely aged or changed since you awoke your demon and angel powers. Whenever a being awakens their inner angel or demon, they ageing insanely slow. For example, I awoke my power when I was created. But I looked 15 when I was created. Velon also awoke his power as soon as he was created. He is the closest thing to a son that Silvia had." Azura says as I look at Velon. He doesn't say a word. I thought I understood how this reality works. But I guess I know next to nothing.
