As I open my eyes, I see a large tree with a few leaves falling off above me. I sit up and look around. I quickly realize I'm in a woodland area. I close my eyes and enjoy the slight breeze blowing through the area. I stand up and fall to one knee. "What the hell?" I mumble under my breath as I struggle to stand up. "Why can't I get up?" I say as I close my eyes and take a deep breath. "Damn, what happened?" I say as I suddenly remember what happened in the desert of death. I force myself to stand up and use a nearby tree for support. I stumble through the woods, nearly falling every few feet. "What happened? Why did she teleport me away?" I ask myself as I take a deep breath and keep moving forward. After walking for a few minutes I see a town through some trees. As I exit the woods I struggle to keep my balance. My vision starts blurring as I stumble forward. I trip and start to fall, but I feel someone catch me as I'm falling. I have no dreams, it feels like I blink and I wake up in someone's room. As I sit up, I feel some of my energy is returning to me. I stand up and make a fist a few times. "Well, at least I can stand up now." I say as I hear a door creak open behind me. I turn around and see Sakara in the door. "Wait, Sakara? What are you doing here?" I ask as she stares at me. "I live here, but why are you here? I saw you stumbling by the town's edge and ran to see what was wrong. As I got to you, you fell unconscious. You seemed injured but no signs of any physical injury. So what are you doing here?" She asks as I smile. "Let's just say I had a long night." I say as I chuckle lightly. I can't bring other people into this. I don't want any of my friends or anyone I know getting hurt because of me. I think as she sighs. "Well I guess there's no use trying to pry the information out of you. But you still are weak, so I wouldn't recommend doing anything to crazy." She says as I nod. "I understand." I say as she laughs. "I had heard you were reckless from Aziria, but I didn't expect you to act so casual about being injured." She says as I laugh. "I've been through worse." I say as she giggles. "I would expect that." She says as she suddenly looks over her shoulder. She looks mad. A heavy silence covers the house for a moment then suddenly I hear a doorbell. She just stands there. I shrug and walk past her towards where I heard the doorbell. She grabs my wrist and looks at me. "Don't worry; I'm not as reckless as Aziria says." I say smiling as I pull my hand free and walk down the hall. As I find the front door I feel energy on the other side. As I open the door with a friendly smile, I see a man with long black hair going down to the middle of his back. I look him up and down and notice he's wearing armor made of demon and angel bones. He has a sword on his hip that has an extremely evil aura to it. "How may I help you?" I ask as he looks to his left. "Hey, who's this kid?" he asks somebody. "Huh? What kid?" I hear Zen say. I poke my head out the door and see Zen in heavy black armor walking toward the house. He stops and stares at me when he sees me. "Oh, that's a friend of mine. Not sure why he's here though." Zen says as I walk out. "Hey, Zen, who's this guy?" I ask as Zen laughs and teleports 20 feet to me. "This is something of a lost treasure. He is the founder of the hunters. He was sealed away by Azura for some reason. I found him in an orb of some sort. It took me and 30 other demons to put enough energy into it to free him." Zen says as I look at the man. He glares at me and puts his hand on the sword on his hip. Zen steps between us. "Kai, this is Sorin." Zen says as Sorin draws his sword. "Zen, this boy has a very unique energy type. I'd imagine there's a massive bounty on his head, so why has nobody killed him?" Sorin asks as Zen laughs. "Well I guess because nobody has been able to kill him really." Zen says as Sorin pushes him back and swings his sword toward me. I summon Nirioki and block his sword. I feel a heavy and dark energy coming off his sword. I smile lightly as he jumps back and readies his sword. Did Sakara know this guy? Or was she sensing the energy on that sword? I think as he attacks me again. I block his sword, but he spins around and kicks the side of my knee in. as I fall to one knee, I barely bring up my sword to block him attacking downward. "That's quite enough." Sakara says angrily behind me. As I look back, I see her kick Sorin in the ribs and knock him back 40 feet. He stops himself by jamming his sword into the ground. "I'd much rather fight her. She seems like she can fight better." Sorin says as I stand up. "Kai, can I see your sword for a minute or so?" Sakara asks as I nod and hand her my sword. As I blink, she appears behind Sorin and impales him with my sword. Damn she's fast. She's faster than Jericho or Snow most likely. I think as I see Sorin smile and walk off the sword. "Fair point. I shall take my leave now, but I will be back. Before I leave though, I would like to know your name." Sorin says looking at Sakara. "My name is Sakara Kimaro." She says as he smiles. He teleports away and Zen laughs. "Damn Sakara, you're good." Zen says as Sakara tosses Nirioki back to me. "I just trained a lot when I was younger." She says as she walks past me and goes inside her house. She closes her door as Zen pats my back in silence. After a second he grabs the collar of my shirt and looks at me. "So while we had to finish the fight with Nephilim, you got to relax here with her!? How is that fair?!" He yells as I laugh lightly. "Well, it's not exactly like that." I reply.
