As the last match for the 2nd round ends, me and Anix walk into the ring. We're in the ring before the announcer even says who's fighting. As we both ready ourselves we hear the announcer. "Semi-finals first match: Kai vs. Anix." He says as Anix and I run toward each other. We both attack all out in base form and both dodge and block every attack we send at each other. I quickly jump back as Anix throws a kick with a lot of energy behind it. As I land I instantly lunge back toward him and throw a punch. He throws one too and we both catch each others punch. I hear the crowd cheering loudly as I dislocate my shoulder on purpose to kick Anix in the jaw. He slides back to the edge of the mat but recovers. He rubs his chin as I pop my shoulder back into place. I shake out the numb feeling in my arm and run back toward him. As I'm about to punch him, he almost enters his first release and punches me in the stomach. I cough up a little blood and grab his throat. I summon some of my energy and heal then grab the side of his head and throw him to the middle of the ring. He spins around and lands on his feet then charges toward me. I quickly ready myself. He swings at me with his right fist. As I duck he's already kicking toward me. I quickly roll away. As I look up, I see him kicking toward me with the other leg. I quickly grab his ankle then flip up and kick down on his knee. I hear a loud crack as I break his knee. I follow up with a back kick to his jaw to knock him off the mat. I hear the crowd go silent. I see his knee heal quickly and him stand up. "Well damn, you still got it." He says as I smile. "Yep." I reply as I hop off the mat. I watch Reygura quickly walk onto the mat. "Next match: Reygura vs Klayda." As the match starts I see Reygura nearly teleport to him and kick him off the mat. Reygura looks at me and stares at me. After a few minutes we hear it. "Welcome to the finals. The match to decide the winner tonight: KAI VS. REYGURA!" The announcer yells as we both walk onto the mat. I enter my normal 1st release and my hair grows a little longer. Reygura teleports to me and I catch his foot inches from my chest. "This is actually a challenge if I was in my base release. But since I'm using a little bit of my actual power." I say as I teleport to the other side of Reygura and punch them in the face down to the mat. They hit hard and their mask cracks. They quickly roll to their feet and jump away from me. They instantly switch from offensive to defensive. I sigh and walk toward them. They attack with a flurry of attacks but I easily block all of them. They quickly swing toward my face faster than their other attacks. I still easily block it and counter with a light punch to their chest. Their chest was soft. Must not have much muscle. Why are they acting so weird all of a sudden. I think as I see the holding their chest and staring at me. They quickly rush me and throw a reckless series of punches. I sigh while blocking all their attacks when suddenly one hits me in the face and pushes me back to the edge of the mat. I feel a little blood as I smile. "So now they're in their first release?" I mumble as I quickly let my angel side come out a little as a few white streaks form in my hair. "The DHC already knows my name. No use in hiding my powers." I say as I teleport to them and punch Reygura in the stomach. I lift the off the ground with my punch then quickly wrap my arm around their throat and slam them to the ground. Their mask chips a little more as I sigh. "Just give up. Ref! I think this match is over!" I shout as I see the referre shake his head no. Suddenly I feel more energy come off of them. "I can't lose." I hear a girl say. My eyes widen as I look down. "Wait, you're a girl?" I say as her mask crumbles revealing her face. She stands up and long pink hair falls down. Suddenly a barrier goes up around the ring to make a 30 foot by 30 foot by 30 foot square arena. She quickly kicks me to the ceiling. As I blink I realize I'm getting thrown all over the place. "Fine." I mumble and enter my composite 1st release and summon evony. "This isn't just a fight anymore." I say as I grow a large black wing and a large white wing. I quickly fly up and summon energy to one palm. She stares up at me and smiles. "This is fun." She says as I sigh. "You're a weird one. I say as I shoot the barrier with my energy and break it. "Reygura, don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think you want to keep going in this fight. It's not good for your health." I say as I enter my base form and drop off the stage. As Azoria and Sakara walk to me I hear her yell from behind me. "I'll see you later, and my name isn't really Reygura." She says as I look back and notice she's gone. "She was definitely an odd one." Sakara says as Azoria pats my shoulder. "Kai, she was actually holding back. She was a really weird fighter. She was almost testing you. Just thought you should know."
