As my eyes jerk open I stare at the ceiling. "I need to get stronger." I mumble as I look down. My eyes widen as I see Ragnarok laying her head on my leg. "Hey!" I yell as she smiles and sits up. "You had your eyes closed and I've seen humans do things like this for hundreds of years, staying close while the other sleeps." Ragnarok says as I blush slightly. "Yea, but those humans normally have a special connection. You really don't get it, do you?" I ask as she giggles. "I'm not sure how mortals view each other, but I often hear them mention love. By what I can deduce love is just a powerful positive feeling towards someone." She says as I sigh. "It's a little more complex than that." I mumble as she laughs. "Then explain." She replies as I scratch my cheek. "Love is like, wanting to spend every moment with someone. Taking enjoyment in every little thing they do, and even when they get on your nerves you still could never dislike them. Only wanting to be with that person, not needing anyone else, or well, at least that's my simplified view of love." I say as she smiles. "Then I love you, by that definition." She says as I stare at her. "You're definitely an odd one." I sigh as she stands up. I quickly stand up and remember what Eclipse said. "I need to get stronger." I say as Ragnarok laughs. "Of course you do. Or, more importantly, learn how to maintain that form you fought me in." Ragnarok says as she smiles. "You'd be really strong if you could maintain that form." She says as I hear my mother cough. I quickly run back and see her sitting up. She looks at me and smiles. "I feel much better now." She says as I smile. "I'm glad your ok." I say as I hug her. "Kai, I'm proud of the man you've become." I hear her mumble as I smile. "Thank you." I reply as I step back. "Are you ok? Not in any pain or anything, right?" I ask as she shakes her head. "I'm fine. I feel as good as ever." She remarks with a smile. "What did Telas do to you?" I ask as she laughs slightly. "He just kept absorbing my energy little by little, as if searching for something." She says as she winks at me. "So you knew I had Eclipse?" I reply as she laughs. "Is that what the name of that energy is? It never awoke in me, it just stayed dormant." She says as I laugh. "She's a handful." I mumble as I see my mother look behind me. "Kai, would you like to introduce me to your lady friend?" My mother states as she points behind me. I look back and see Ragnarok looking over my shoulder curiously. "Right, mom, this is Ragnarok." I say as I see Ragnarok smile. A brief silence before my mother jumps out of bed and summons a white sword. I feel my mother's energy is around a 1st release. "Mom, it's ok, she just wanted to fight me." I say while trying to calm her down. Ragnarok quickly speaks up behind me. "I also love your son!" She says boldly as I see my mother stare at me.  "She doesn't understand completely." I say, reasoning to my mother. I see my mother laugh as the sword vanishes. She sits on the bed and closes her eyes. "Kai, would it be alright if I stayed here a while? I know you don't have much space but I can stay on the couch." She asks. As I start to answer Ragnarok laughs. We all appear in a large room with books and ornaments decorating shelves all over the walls. "You can stay here." Ragnarok says as I look at her. "Where are we?" I ask as she laughs. "I've been watching your world for a while, so I made a copy of a massive castle I saw once." She says as I look around. "Are we in a pocket dimension?" I ask as she giggles. "No silly, we're on an island I made just now." I look at her and blink a few times. "You made an island?" I ask as she nods. "Matter manipulation is quite easy for me." She says as I stare at her. "Won't this affect the planet in some way? A new island suddenly appearing?" I ask as she laughs. "That's cute, you think human science applies to greater beings." She says as I look to my mother. "Is this ok with you?" I ask as my mother smiles warmly. "In lore Ragnarok was the death of a civilization. It seems those myths were just that, myths." My mother says as I smile. Ragnarok quickly walks to me and smiles. "While she relaxes, you said you wanted to get stronger?" Ragnarok says with a grin. "Yea? What about it?" I ask as suddenly I'm falling from hundreds of feet up. I blink a few times as I see I'm headed for a large body of water. I quickly channel energy to my feet to form a solid surface beneath me. I gain my balance and look around. "Ragnarok, what did you do?" I mumble as I see endless water around me. Suddenly she appears in front of me and throws a punch. I pull up my arms and barely block the punch. As I go flying back a long distance I hit something solid as I hear a loud crack. As I look back I see a huge island with a crack on the side. As I look back forward, Ragnarok kicks me clean through the island. As I go flying over water and land I quickly jam my hand into the ground. I look around trying to figure out where I am. "Ragnarok, what is this?" I ask as she appears in front of me. "I made an exact copy of earth, besides living creatures, and put it in this pocket dimension." She says as she pops her neck. "Now let's get you stronger."
