"So where am I?" I ask as Sinclair smiles. "You're at my mansion." She replies as I stare at her. "You...have a mansion?" I ask as she nods. "My family was rich, and I inherited their fortune when they died. Then, on top of that, I got paid very handsomely for my outstanding work with the DHC." She says as I look around the room. "So why was I brought here?" I ask as she smiles. "Well, the DHC put a seal on the gate, fence, and walls around this mansion. The seal keeps out demons and angels; well it did until Azura broke through with ease." Sinclair says as I stand up. I notice I'm shirtless as the covers fall off of me. I look in the mirror across the room. I see a few scars over my abs and chest. As I turn around and look at my back, I see a large scar on my spine. "Whoever attacked, they knew what they were doing." I mumble as I summon black energy to my left hand. Azura, come to me. We need to talk. I think as suddenly Azura appears behind me. "What is it?" she asks as I look at her. "I'm going to kill whoever did this. Not because they hurt me, but because of all the damage they caused." I say as Azura sighs. "Kai, being a hero is a great virtue, but it doesn't suit you." Azura says as I stare at her. Azura puts her hand on my shoulder. "I'll cut you a deal." She says as she smiles. "Name any 3 people, and I'll persuade them to help you out." Azura says as I look at her. "I want Velon, Zen, and you." I say as we stare at each other for a moment. "Fine, I'll tag along. I will only help you find them, and after that." She says as she looks at me smiling. "I'll watch the fight, but I won't help during the fight." She says as I nod. "Sounds fair." I say as Sinclair runs over to me. "Can I come too?" she asks as I nod. Azura snaps and I look at her. Suddenly Velon and Zen appear behind her. They look around confused. I see Zen has a towel tied around his waist. "Oh, I'm sorry." Azura says as she snaps. Zen vanishes. After a minute she snaps again and he appears behind her again actually wearing clothes this time. He glares at me and Azura for a moment. Azura walks to him and Velon. "We're going on a hunt. About 5 days ago, Kai was attacked. I'm sure you've heard by now." Azura says as Zen draws his sword from his back. He pushes it against Azura's throat. "Of course we've heard. Everyone has been working to find the asshole that attacked him in such a cowardly way. I've got his name, but that's it. And, along with what his name is, I was given a warning." Zen says as he looks at me. "I was told that if I say his name he'll come." Zen says as he pulls a piece of paper from his pocket and hands it to me. As I open it I stare at the name. Nephilim? I think as I look at the paper. Zen speaks up again. "So when Kai woke up I was going to ask him if he wants to kick this guy's ass." Zen says as I nod. "Azura, you don't have to help us find him. I want you to help us kill him." I say as she mulls over the idea. "Fine, but ill only get involved if your life is threatened severely." Azura says as I nod in agreement. I look at Velon and see him spacing out. "Velon, you alright?" I ask as he jolts back to life. He looks at me with a blank expression. "Sorry Kai, there's something I have to do." He says with an obvious fake smile. Velon teleports away as I see Zen sigh. Zen looks at Azura. "I recommend that we have Rose for this." He says as Azura giggles. I look at her confused as she summons Rose. As rose appears she looks around. She jumps back to me when she sees Azura. They glare at each other. "So Rose, are you taking care of my Divine Thorn? You know, the one you stole?" Azura asks as Rose smirks. "You're just mad because I use that weapon better than you ever did." Rose says as Azura pops her knuckles. "Is that so?" Azura says as they glare at each other. Suddenly a portal opens beneath us. As we fall through, we land in the desert of death. As we land, we quickly look around. We all see a man walking toward us. "Well, well, well, look what I found." He says as he holds up his arm. Suddenly Rukia appears and hits his arm with her scythe. She jumps over to us. I see cuts all over her body with blood streaming from all over her body. She's covered in her own blood. "I could've sworn that I killed you, but no matter." The man says as he appears behind us. As we turn around he throws a punch." Azura blocks it with her forearm. "OOOH! SOMEONE ACTUALLY BLOCKED ME WITHOUT DYING!?" he yells as he steps back laughing hysterically. I feel Azura's energy explode forward as the man stares at us. He has short white hair with a long grey cloak. He throws it off to reveal heavy black armor under it. I feel his energy rush forward and almost equal Azura's. He laughs and pops his neck. I summon evony, Rose summons her divine thorn, Sinclair summons a sniper rifle, and Zen draws his black sword. "This looks so fun!" he yells as I smirk. "Then let's play, Nephilim." I say as his smile vanishes. I see his eye twitch as he laughs lightly without smiling. "Don't say my name! You aren't strong enough!" he yells as he summons a scythe and swings it toward us. As I blink, I see Azura holding me, standing on one of the planets above us. As I look down I see the main area for the desert of death is gone. "Kai, I might just get involved in this." She says as we stare down to where the desert of death had been.
