As I open my eyes, I see I'm back in my temporary room on my bed. I sit up and see Snow and Azura sitting next to my bed. Azura smiles and stands up. "Congrats you passed the test. You beat Snow in her 3rd release! Be glad she wasn't in her 4th. I told her to hold back a bit." Azura says as I look to Snow. "Sorry, I had to act the way I did to see your full potential. And I still don't think I saw 100%." Snow says as she smiles lightly. Azura rubs her neck and smiles. "Well now you get to have another challenge. Another step before you can leave here." Azura says as she snaps her fingers. The room changes as my eyes widen. A tower grows from the ground in the distance. It stretches far beyond my vision into the sky. "That is your final test." Azura says as I look to her. "What about scratching you?" I ask as she laughs. "I can't train you to that level. But if you can survive that tower and make it to the top, I'll just release you from this dimension. You'll go home and be free to live normally again." She says as Snow steps forward. "Snow will be going with you to help. But only in extreme emergencies." Azura says as I nod. I teleport to the base of the tower. The front door to the tower is 30 feet tall and 20 feet wide. I walk through and look around inside. It's pitch black inside. Snow walks a little infront of me and the door behind us closes. Suddenly the room becomes bright. I blink a few times and adjust to the bright light. I notice we're in what looks like a desert. Snow look at me. "So you have to make it to the top of this tower. That's your only goal." Snow says as I nod. "So how do we go up?" I ask as Snow shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know." She says as I sigh. "Great." I look around and start walking beside the wall. I walk for what feels like hours but don't find a single clue on how to progress upward. Snow and I wander around for several hours before I just sit down. Snow sits next to me. "How many floors does this tower have?" I ask as Snow laughs. "A couple hundred." She says as I sigh. Suddenly a familiar energy signature appears behind us. I smile and turn around. "Sup?" Velon says throwing up a peace sign with his other hand In his pocket. I stand up and smile. "How did you get here?" I ask as he draws his sword. "I was told to help you find the stairs." He says jokingly. He looks around for a second then looks toward the ceiling. "There it is." He mumbles as I look up. I squint and see a small staircase on the ceiling several hundred feet above us. "Good eye." Snow says as she stands up. I quickly teleport up near the stairs. I grab onto the first step and pull myself up. I walk up the stairs onto the next level. This level is another desert, with a few large creatures roaming around. "So she actually populated the tower." Velon mumbles as he walks next to me. Snow walks beside me on the other side and chuckles. "This is going to be fun." She says as all the creatures look toward us. They look like large dogs with 2 heads and several tails. They stand about 10 feet tall. They all start to charge us but in a instant they all get ripped apart. Velon laughs and sheaths his sword. "I've picked up a few new tricks in the 5 years since beating Silvia." Velon says as he points up. "There's the next floor. Let's just fly through this tower." He says as I nod. We easily clear the first 15 floors. As we walk into the 16th floor everything is covered in ash. "Ohh, shit." Velon mumbles as thousands of people emerge from the ash. "Yea, this is bad." Snow says as I blink a few times. "Why is this bad?" I ask as I summon Nirioki. All the people jump toward us. As I swing toward them, they don't get cut by my sword at all. "Kai, energy can't hurt them at all! We have to beat them with pure physical energy." Snow says as I enter my 3rd release. "I just want to go home!" I yell as I rip several of them in half with a single kick. I see Velon doing the same and Snow is staying back. I sigh and slowly tip them all apart with Velon. After about an hour we kill them all. "Damn." I say, almost out of breath. "Yea, they just kept coming. Probably would've been done much sooner but someone didn't wanna help!" Velon yells while shaking his fist at snow. I revert to my normal form and fall back onto the floor. I can't move at all. "D-damnit." I mumble as Velon sits next to me. "Yea, we shouldn't have held our 3rd release so long." Velon says as I silently agree. Snow sits next to me and laughs lightly. "Just know this is probably, on a scale of 1 to 100 in difficulty for creatures in this tower, a 3 or 4 overall." Snow says as I sigh. Velon laughs lightly. "Well, we still have a 4th release in case shit gets too bad." Velon says jokingly. If it took that much effort for low difficulty creatures, what will the last few floors be like? I think as Snow smiles. "Don't worry, I'm also here to help if either of you start losing majorly." Snow says as I smirk. "Thanks, I feel more comfortable in this tower of bullshit already." I mumble as Velon laughs. "Well at least we can fight together like old times." Velon says.
