5 Generals

I wait for a second but no one emerges. Suddenly the energy teleports to the top of a building. I look towards it and they teleport again. Each time I look towards them and each time they teleport to a different location at what feels like random. I sigh and teleport to them on a roof. "H-hey Kai, funny seeing you here. Lovely weather tonight isn't it? Ha-haha." Raven says nervously. "Why are you spying on me?" I ask as he sighs. "Velon told me to keep an eye on you. Something about you being worth a lot of money to the DHC and the Hunters. He doesn't want them ambushing you or anything." Raven says as I smile. "Don't worry, I can handle myself. I have no worries when it comes to some powered up humans." I say as he laughs. I hear Sinclairs voice behind me as a fingertip touches the side of my head. "If they can hide their energy, they can take you down." She says as I look at her. "So you're both watching me?" I ask as Raven laughs. "Well Velon only told me to watch you, I don't know why she's watching you." Raven says as Sinclair blushes and kicks him off the roof. "Shit!" He yells as he teleports back to us. "That's just mean." Raven says as Sinclair looks away. "Whatever, and I was just passing through." She says as Raven laughs under his breath. "That's believable." He whispers as she punches him in the stomach. "Shut up Raven." She says as he nods. "Oh Kai, I need to tell you about the DHC." Sinclair says as I look at her. "The 5 generals are after you. Each has a extremely dangerous ability. One has abilities like Orion, slight time and reality manipulation. Another can do kinda like me and make any weapons from energy at will. The 3rd controls lighting to a point of absolute mastery. Next is my brother Nixon. He is as good a shot as me, but he has armor that absorbs all forms of energy. The last general is new. I only know he's supposedly very badass. I'm pretty sure I could take any of them in a one on one match, but they all fight together." She says as I laugh lightly. "No offense, but I don't have much reason to fear them. Unless they receive power from a higher up being, they don't have much of a chance." I say as Raven sighs. "Oh, and there's something in the air. I can feel a fight coming. Everyone can. Even some of the lesser demons feel something coming." Raven says as I look at him. "Raven, don't worry. We'll be able to handle any threat that comes our way." I say as he smiles. "Yea, as a team, us and our friends are dangerous." He says as Sinclair props up on me. "Yea, and since we got captain badass here, we'll be fine." She says looking at me. "Captain badass?" I say as Raven nearly falls off the building laughing. "Yea, being one of the few half angel, half demons, you're extremely dangerous. Probably why you're rated #3 on the DHC's priority list. Above you is X-317 and something they call codename Starfall. I have no clue what it is. Currently it's listed as non aggressive but level 9 dangerous. X-317 is level 10. There are 15 levels and the scarlet angel is 15." Sinclair says as I instantly get the memory of them woman from my dream. Could that be her? I think as I look up. "Starfall. I wonder why they call it that?" I mumble. I stare at stars and smile slightly. "Hey, Sinclair." I say as she takes her arm off of me. "Yea?" She says as I close my eyes. "Do you believe that one day peace may be perfectly achieved? Demons, angels, and humans all living together?" I ask as I feel her energy grow slightly warmer. "Yea, I think you can make it possible." She says as I open my eyes. I will fight for that perfect peace. And I will achieve it. I think as Raven yawns. "Well I think you can handle yourself, I'm gonna go home and sleep." He says as he gives me a fist bump then teleports away. "I think I'll go to bed too." Sinclair says as she hugs me slightly. As she hugs me I feel a sharp ray of energy coming toward us. I quickly fall back with Sinclair as a beam of white energy shoots past us. I quickly stand up and look around but I don't see anything. "What the hell was that?" Sinclair says as she stands up. "Someone attacked us." I suddenly feel another shot of energy going towards Sinclair. I summon my sword instantly and block the attack barely. "Where are they? I can't sense any energy until it's fired, then they vanish." I say as I pulse my energy around the area. As I find the person I teleport to them and grab their shoulder. I see a person with a thick black cloak with gold and silver designs all over it. They have a mask on their face. All I see is 2 black eyes with silver slits. The person quickly does a back flip and kicks my hand up. As they land, they duck as a shot of blue and black energy rips through the concrete beside the person. I see Sinclair on the roof with her sniper rifle. "To be able to dodge me at this range without looking, who are you?" She asks as we stare at the person. They quickly summon 2 daggers and throw one at me and Sinclair. As I block the dagger and blink they vanish. Sinclair teleports to me. "What happened, I blinked and they vanished?" Sinclair says as I nod. "I blinked too. I think their gone, but be on your guard. Go home, be careful." I say as she nods and teleports away. I quickly teleport to my room and summon Nirioki. I can't use Evony, I'd definitely destroy this apartment if I used it, I might be able to defend myself in close quarters with this. I think as I keep Nirioki in its knife form.
