"ducks , this is morgan. she'll be trying out for the team too." i introduced morgan. they all welcome her, even russ. we were all sitting in the living room kinda thing in our dorms. as i talk to the girls, i notice a boy walk by and wink at me. yeah he was good looking but 1. ADAM and 2. he looks waayyy older then me. he looks like he is at least twenty. which confused me, why the hell would a twenty year old be in a high school. eh whatever.

i'm awoken by the bangs of a car hitting the road. what the hell. i look up, I'm in the bed of a truck. there is another girl sitting next to me, we are both tied up and have duck tape across our mouths. she looks just as terrified as I am. the car comes to a stop at a cabin deep in the woods. the guy I saw earlier was not getting out of the car. he gets up and drags both of us by our hair into the cabin. he throws us into a room. when he comes back into the room, he beats us , really bad. next thing I know I'm naked and the sight of what he was doing to the other girl made ma sick to my stomach.

its been one week since I've seen or heard from her. a freaking week. the love of my life is gone and no one knows where she is. i haven't been going to school. I miss her so much that my whole body feels numb. where the hell could she have possibly went , or who could have taken her.

since me and cami (girl who was kidnaped too) have been here for a week we have found out the name of our kidnapper, Matt. by now we were both in white robes covered in dirt and blood, I can't tell you how many times he's beaten us and raped us, i stopped counting. as we are sitting in the basement of this place, matt paces around the room. then the buzzing of his phone makes both of us jump. he answers quickly.
"hello?" he says.
"ok ok i'm coming." and with that, he left , leaving the back door wide open. i looked at cami and she looked at me. we both jump up running towards the door, we can hear the sound of an engine from the front of the house. i'm guessing that is who matt was going to see. we ran through the woods, getting lost in them. we come to a hill , i see it in time to stop, but cami doesn't. she goes flying down the steep hill.
"cami!" i yell as i climb down the hill. she lays there , grabbing her ankle and letting out small sobs.
"come on, i got you." i say as i lift her up and carry her bridal style. i'm running and running and running through the woods for what felt like forever, i was sweating , i felt dizzy,and my back hurt from carrying cami, but that wasn't stopping me, i had to get out of here i wasn't going to let cami or me get hurt anymore. just as i was thinking of giving up, i approach a road, a long dark scary road. i sigh in relief and begin to walk in one direction , that's when i see the headlights of a car, but not just any car, matts car. he stops right in front of me and at this time i know that i have screwed up. he quickly gets out of the car and punches me so hard across the face. i almost drop cami but i don't. then, out of no where, a guy hits matt over the heard with some large piece of wood from the side of the road. matt falls to the ground bleeding from his head.
"i'm james, the guy he was talking to."
"oh please don't hurt us." cami cries out.
"no actually , i'm taking you home."
i stare down at cami wide eyed.
"i called the police , they are on their way." and as he said that , we could hear the faint sirens. i smile.
"thank you so much." i smile at him.
"i've been planning to do this since he got you girls, im his brother, he's insane. in the head."
i gasp as a cop car pull up , followed by like 4 more and an ambulance. the cops recognize us , we had been all over the news. and turns out , cami lives down the street from me. but right now , we are in north dakota. oh my.
"come on girls , we are taking you home." a police offer says as some drag matt into the back of the police car. i turn quickly meeting the eyes of james.
"thank you." i say quietly. he smiles in return and begins to walk back into the forest. i had given cami to a paramedic and her ankle was now wrapped up, she had sprained it from the fall. i help cami in to the back of the police car and sit down. i fall asleep in the back of a police car, in the middle of north dakota , at 3 in the morning , next to my new friend , happy. i'm going home and i've never been so thankful.
Minnesota, here i come.
