"i heard the good news el." coach says to me through the phone. "i'm so happy you and adam are back."
i smile warmly.

"me too. i missed him so much. everything is back to normal again."

"that's amazing. we were all so worried about you during those months."

"that's nice to hear, that you all cared. to be honest i thought i would never get better. i felt so, so hopeless."

"i know how you felt, it's honestly terrible. and of all people ella, you didn't deserve that. everything that has happened since the summer, you do not deserve. i don't know how your fourteen almost fifteen and can handle everything like that."

"i love you coach. i learned my strength from you."

"i love you too. let's stop talking about the dark past. when's the next game?"

"the JV varsity showdown is next friday. adam is even playing with us now." i smile brightly.

"awesome! i can totally make it."

"that's great! it will be an honor to beat their asses with you in the stands , coach." he laughs loudly through the phone.

"i'm honored to watch. i have no doubt that you guys will win."

"i really hope so, we can show those ass holes we belong at eden hall."

"damn right."

"i gotta blast coach, practice starts in ten."

"have fun and work hard el. i'll see you next friday."

i hang up the phone and turn around the get my stuff for practice.

"jesus adam you scared the hell outta me." i laugh as i hold a hand to my heart. he laughs and sits next to me on my bed.

"who were you talking to , darling." he says. the way he says darling made my heart happy.

"coach, he's gonna be in town for the JV varsity show down." i say clapping my hands together. adam jumps off the bed in excitement.

"yes! i haven't seen coach in so long. i miss him." he says happily. i smile.

"i can't wait to tell the rest of the team, especially charlie. he's gonna be hella hype." i yell adam.

"tell me what?" charlie's voice comes from the door way. i scream and nearly die of a heart attack.

"what the hell char! what's with scaring me today. what is it, scare the hell outta ella day or something." i say throwing my hands up in the air. they laugh.

"sorry twinnie." charlie says plopping down on the bed.

"forgetting someone." a voice says from the doorway causing me to jump.

"oh my god." i whisper to myself as i put my head in my hands , shaking my head slightly.

"sorry el. couldn't help myself" ava says jumping on charlie.

"sorry for forgetting you baby." he says kissing her which turned into a make out session.

"uhh excuse me! my virgin eyes." i fake gag.

"oh please like you and adam don't do this." ava scoffs.

"actually we do much worse." adam mutters.

"adam!" i shout slapping his chest. my cheeks turn bright red as they laugh at my reaction.
