beep beep beep

i was woken up by the sound of beeping ringing through my ears. i look around the somewhat white room. that's when i notice, i'm in a hospital. i don't remember why but i'm here, and alive. IM ALIVE!
i quickly go to get up but instantly regret it as a sharp pain goes through my entire stomach. tears brim my eyes as i hold my stomach. i lay back down trying to not think of the pain. i look to my side to see adam sitting on one of the chairs passed out. i giggle silently to myself trying not to wake him.

"oh my! you're awake!" a voice comes from the door making me almost jump out of the hospital bed. the voice was so loud it even made adam jump up. to be honest, he looked horrible. he had bags under his eyes, his hair a mess, and just naturally looked broken.

"ella?" i hear adam's voice ask. it sounded as if he hasn't talked in days.

"what's-" i was interrupted by adam crashing his lips against mine. i was taken back by this but soon kissed back, placing my hands on his neck. he breaks the kiss as he leans his forehead against mine.

"i'm so happy you're awake!" he says happily , intertwining his fingers with mine. i give him a confused look.

"what do you mean?" i ask.

"you've been in a coma for a little over a week." he says. i gasp and quickly sit up.

" a little over a week? what the hell! i  have probably missed so much school work and hockey and everything. how am i ever going to-"

"calm down, everyone knows what happened. nicole and matt are in jail. well nicole is in juvi." he says. i nod, suddenly remembering everything that happened that night.

"are you ok? did they hurt you?" i ask adam quickly.

"no, but they hurt you so that technically means that they hurt me. but thank you. you saved me." he whispers. i smile.

"i couldn't lose you." i whisper back as i pull him in for another kiss, never wanting to let go.

i woke up this morning in my bed, in my room, in my dorm, happy everything was over. i was discharged from the hospital yesterday and spent the rest of my day trying to catch up on school work and homework which honestly sucked. i do my normal routine, like everyday. i found my self smiling a little more than usual. i mean i'm just happy that adams alive and ok, and i guess i'm happy i am too.

i did my usual routine, this time a huge smile on my face, i never thought i would be so happy to be back and going to school to be honest.......

this is an extremely short chapter but i haven't updated in a while and y'all prob hate me for the way i left last chapter!
