"oh hey ella." caroline says as she walk spit of the bathroom. this girl just naturally be happy.

"hi caroline."i say with as much fake happiness i can stir up.

"uh have you seen nicole , im trying to make her change her mind on something she's planning to do." caroline says nervously as she scans the hallway looking for her friend.

"oh she went that way, what's she planning on found. if you don't mind me asking." i say playing dumb. i know that she's in love with adam but she said "something she's planning to do." what on earth could she be plotting. caroline gives me a strange look, and uncomfortable one. i act innocent, hoping she will tell me what nicole is plotting. she sighs and quickly grabs my arm, dragging me into a janitors closer. she locks the door and quickly turns around. by now, i'm scared.

"ok, i'm not supposed to be telling you this but what nicole is doing is wrong.and i need your help to stop her" she says quickly. i give her a look a if to continue.

"she loves adam and is willing to do anything to have him. she told me that if anyone were to get in her way, they would be hurt. she's planning on asking, well more like forcing, adam to run away with her. but if he refuses and does not want to go, she'll kill him. and then take her own life like she's been planning for years." caroline explains. at the sound of such horrible news i honestly feel like i could throw up. my heads spins and her words are on loop in my head, bouncing back and forth off the walls of my brain. "she'll kill him." i can't lose adam, either way. he leaves or dies, and i won't let that happen.

"we need to make a plan. we have to stop this." i say with no emotion at all. she nods her head quickly.

"i completely agree, neither do you or adam deserve that pain." she says as i nod.

"i don't want anyone to know about this but one person, she can help us figure out a plan and she will help us stop her." i say, thinking of only one person.

"how are you sure that she is willing to help, i mean this could get dangerous. nicole is dangerous." she says. i nod my head

"i know this is dangerous , but me and her. we've been through far worse. cami will help." i say. she nods her head and her eyes light up with realization.

"cami will definitely help, she's a sweetheart. she's my lab partner." she smiles warmly.

"i mean who wouldn't love cami." i smile as caroline laughs, nodding her head.

"lets go find cami." caroline says , unlocking the door. she peaks her head out to make sure no one is nearby before quickly opening the door. we both run out and quickly shut the door.

"if cami is with the girls or anyone else from the ducks, we'll have to wait. i don't want any of them knowing about this plan. we'll just say your helping me with the english paper, and you offered to help out cami too." i say as we speed walk through the halls.

"sounds good, now we just have to find- oh god." caroline stops. all of the ducks are outside on the steps of school talking in little circles, and of votes nicole is attached to adam's side. i roll my eyes before walking out the doors and towards the girls.

"hey girls." i say with fake happiness. they all smile and wave.

"this is caroline , i'm pretty sure you all know her. well she's helping me out with my english paper and asked if cami needed help also since she's in our class." i say looking at cami. she gives me a confused look, maybe because i was with caroline.

"um sure why not , let my grab my bag." she says turning around.

"hey where's ava?" i ask, looking around the scene.

"lip locking with your twin i see." connie says snickering. we all laugh at the sight of ava and charlie making out on the steps.

"i got my bag, ready to go?" cami appears. i nod my head.

"i'll see you girls later." i wave as we begin to walk back into he school.

"we'll work in the library." i smirk at caroline.

"we don't really have to work on the paper do we ?" cami asks crossing her arms across her chest. i sigh shaking my head slightly.

"no we don't . we have news and we need your help." caroline says. cami gives us a look as if she's saying to continue.

"as you know , nicole is in love with adam. but she's talking this too far. she's going to force him to run away with her and if he tries to refuse , she'll kill him." i quietly say. her eyes go wide and her mouth hangs open.

"i knew that nicole was crazy but that's crazy on a while different level. i can't believe she is willing to go that far." cami says in misbelief.

"and if she does kill him, she'll kill herself." caroline whispers from across the library table. cami's eyes go wide.

"wow i didn't expect that to be apart of her plan." cami says shaking her head. i play with my hands nervously.

"i did. i've seen her scars. some are new too." i whisper back ashamed i haven't said anything to help her out. cami and caroline looks at me wide eyed.

"i was her friend and i didn't even know that she was that sad." caroline says still in shock.

"yeah , the day i first met her her skirt got caught on something and i seen new and old scars all over her thighs." i say quickly.

"i think she's not doing this whole plan because she's in love with adam , i think she's doing it because she doesn't want to die alone." cami says in realization. i gasp and quickly cover my mouth, cami has a point.

"that makes perfect sense though, and she's going to do it with the boy she loves. boom, she gets her dying wish. to be with him." caroline says. i stare at the table in shock, i can't believe that this girl had lead to so many problems.

"we have to stop this , put a end to all of this." i say shaking my head.

"do you know when she plans on doing this whole thing?" cami asks looking at caroline.

"actually i do , she plans on sneaking him outside of the "beginning of the school year dance" and doing it on the roof, i may have read her diary." she says biting her lip.

"great , two days to plan out something so we can stop this." i sigh slouching down in my seat.

"we'll figure something out , and if we don't. we will just have to keep an eye out for her at the dance." cami says. i nod my head in agreement.

"tomorrow after school, meet at the park outside of campus. we'll discuss the plan there." caroline says , getting out of her seat. i nod my head getting out of my seat and grabbing my book bag. caroline walks out of the library, waving at us before disappearing down the hallway. i sigh , holding my binder closer to my chest.

"you alright, after everything that has happened to you , this is sure as hell not how you want your school year to go." cami asks me as we walk out of the library.

"yeah i'm ok, just a little shaken up. this stuff is crazy, stuff you see out of a movie or something." i shake my head at the thought of adam dying, and nicole dying. i mean i hate her , but she doesn't deserve to go. she has a full life ahead of her. and so does adam.

"we have two days to plan something to stop nicole from killing herself and the love of my life. this is going to be two hell of a days."
