Mark POV

I listened to the man of the phone. "Sean Mcloughlin had been found at the scene of a murder, he says a man named Felix assaulted him and another man present. Felix xhraged at the man and he drew fire to protect him and Mcloughlin." My jaw gaped and the nurse stood there at the door, she looked at me sympathetic. "Is he okay?" I questioned quickly. "He is suffering from a broken rib and fractured arm, and skull. The other man named Cry is fine. Jack also has some cuts and a lot of bruises..... there's also scars, do you know anything about those?" "Yeah...... Felix is Jack's abusive ex boyfriend, alchoholic." The man turned the phone and shouted, to I think another officer. "Sorry sir I need to go now, thank you for your time." "Sure no problem." And with that he hung up, what happened though? "Mark, I'm going to go get your dinner." I turned to the clock, 6 o clock. "Okay..." I place the phone on the table next to me And lied back in my bed, "please, please be okay.." I placed my arm over my eyes and lightly cried. "Id kill anyone who'd hurt you that way. Even if it's Felix." The nurse knocked on the door and I wiped my face and leaned forward, calling her in. She had mash potatoes and meatloaf, with green beans. "Here... are you okay? Your eyes are red and your nose is too, were you crying?" I nodded my head. "Oh, I'll let you be alone then. The doctor is calling." I carefully listened, there was yelling. "WE NEED TO EMERGENCY ROOMS STAT, GET THEM IN GO GO GO!" What the hell? I turned and looked outside the window, they were rushing 2 stretchers down the white hallways and into the ER. One of the bodies had green hair..... And the other had blonde. No way, I raced out of my bed and opened the door. "JACK!?" I stood there and raced over to the bed as they ran it down the hall "Sir if your planning on say-" Jack smiled and coughed "can he stay please?" I grinned and helped the doctors push him to the ER, they said that my injuries weren't that bad so I could wait for Jack to be out of surgery outside in the chairs.

Jack POV

I felt dizzy, my head was spinning and it felt wet and warm, blood? I wasn't sure. Suddenly I heard the call of my name and then there was a man looming over me, but his red hair Pointed him out, the Doctor said he had to go but I interrupted "please let him stay.." The doctor looked at me then at Mark. "You'll have to wait outside until the procedure is done." Mark nodded he then looked down and focused his eyes on every little scratch, I could almost see a burning flame behind his eyes. I wasn't sure why, the cart started moving towards the ER and Mark took a seat. They stopped the stretcher in the middle of the room, surrounded by a couple doctors and nurses, equipment tables lined up the sides, and a bright head light beamed in my eyes. "We will be putting you on anesthesia now." I nodded slowly as they put the mask on and my eyes began to shut, my thoughts fading in and out, eventually turning black.

Time Skip

I woke up to see Mark in a chair next to me And his camera was out. His face was pure red and he was laughing his heart out. "What?" He snickered and showed me a video of me on the anesthesia, "you were so funny!" I punched his shoulder, I was about to say something but the video brought my attention. "Hey Jack, do you looovveeee me?" Mark said sweetly in the video "Yea, your like candy, sugary, sweet, and my absolute favoorrite" I started blushing like mad as I watched the video, Mark quickly pulled the phone away before I could watch more. I looked at all my cuts that gotten stitched, it seemed like they opened up my chest to check my ribs and put them into place, I thought so because I had a huge stitch line running down my chest. I gently rubbed it but ended up hurting myself. "Ow." Mark leaned over "You okay?" I nodded "Aww, you pricked your finger on the stiches?" I nodded again and showed him the bleeding stiches. "Here." He began to kiss next to my stiches all the way down, then stood up and grabbed some bandages. "Sit up Jackaboy." I did what I was told and leaned forward as he wrapped gauze and bandages around my body. He kissed again "One to keep it still." He smiled gently at me. "They said that you can save the hospital in one week, and I'm free to leave tomorrow. But I'll have to come back in 4 days to get my stiches removed." I nodded "Okay." I leaned back again, but slowly, "I thought you were gone." He broke the silence. "I thought I was never gonna see you again.... Did you think that Jack, did you too?" My face turned blank "yeah, yeah I did. But in to a it didnt, because now I can spend my days with you." I smiled gently and looked at him, his face and ears turned red. I giggle a little bit, his face heard up more and I turn to him, smiling more and closing my eyes to rest, "You need to sleep to Mark." He smiled and leaned over and kissed my cheek. "Goodnight love." I smiled and kissed back "Night."
