"Is everything alright in there honey?" Mom called out hearing my screams. "No Momphjgnfmgnf" what! I turned to Rina in anger.
"Everything is alright here. No worries" Rina shouted back , clamping her hand over my mouth. Once she took her hand away, I gaped at her and all she did was shrug.
"What? We are all fine here isn't it?'
"Define fine!" I started ranting. "I've been sitting here for over two hours now and I am not allowed to look at the mirror nor can I move. Plus I can't even eat a thing and I am starving! Everything is definitely not alright here!"
Rina just ended up with a pffft and mumbling something along the lines of me being a drama queen.
If you are wondering ..it's the date night! Yes apparently Adam is a genius, because he called me the next day being all cool and sounding sexy. Yes his voice is yummy. So anyways , we planned to go to this place on the beach where they play live music every weekend. Its not a huge band or something, just one or two guys singing beautiful songs.
"Alright. Get up and look in the mirror" Rina suddenly shouted.
Finally and talk about me being the drama queen. So let's see, I hope I am not caked in make up and look like that old lady in front of our house wanting to look young or somethi..... wait that's me? I was now looking at the mirror more like gaping at myself.
"Rina" I said cautiously "Are you sure that's me in the mirror?"
"You idiot who else could it be? You look awesome" Rina was jumping up and down at this point.
I was still gaping but slowly I closed my mouth. Rina had done a wonderful job. The makeup was all natural. The point being, I wasn't caked with make-up. I looked all glowing and girly and my hair looked...very long. I have been so caught up with Zach gone I forgot to trim my hair, but I think I like this long hair that's a few inches below my waist.
All in all I looked amazing in a pair of blue jeans and a white crop top that had some frills on the bottom. I just need to grab some lace up black wedges and then am done.

"Honey your friend is here" I heard my Mom calling from downstairs.
Friend, right, only my Mom uses these terms. It's my date. I then turned to Rina and hugged her.
"Hey Rina I will call you later. Thanks so much for everything, despite my screams"
"Oh Mia, don't. You have been so down lately this is nothing. Just go enjoy your date...with your friend" She started laughing and rushed out the door. Crazy idiot!
Okay then. I smoothed my hair and looked at the mirror once more and slipped out of the room and started going down the stairs. I heard my Mom and Rina talking to Adam. In other words Adam is getting hounded by my Mom and Rina.
"Hey guys! Just give him some space will you. You are suffocating him" Mom and Rina looked at me and started saying some stuff I didn't quite hear, cause I was busy looking at Adam.
He wore a light blue shirt with washed out denim jeans I couldn't take my eyes off him, he is looking totally hot making me all bothered.
"Ahem Ahem " coughing and more coughing came from my side, making me look away just to see Rina and Mom smirking away with teasing looks.
Oh great.
"Let's go Adam. Bye Mom, Rina" I shouted before dragging Adam out the door. Please note that all this while Adam has been gaping at me without uttering a word.
"Err so Mia ..you ..err you look beautiful" Adam said with this look in his eyes that I can't quite place.
"Thanks Adam. You look hot!" oops cocky smile coming up.
"So I am hot eh. You know it's all for you babe" all gaping gone and cockiness back. I felt a blush rising as soon as he said babe.
We decided we will walk since it was quite nearby. We reached Sandy B (Yes that's the name of the place, since the rest of the letters in Beach someone had stolen and was never replaced) in like ten minutes. The place is quite empty, ofcouse it's still early. We chose a table out on the deck. Christmas lights decorated the deck giving a fairy tale effect with a light cool breeze coming from the beach. Tables had candles on them and they were playing soft music till the singer comes. All looked good.
"So, this place still looks awesome"Adam started looking around him.
"I love this place. Ever since I came here with Za.. errr a friend I have been wanting to come here again" I nearly said Zach phew I hope Adam didn't notice it.
"So have you heard from Zach?" Dammit he heard. I do not want to talk about him specially on this date. The whole purpose is to move on from Zach, but Adam wouldn't stop.
"Hows he? I sure miss him." Adam was going on and on.
I am the one missing Zach not him, I thought to myself. But wait, I am here to enjoy not to talk about him.
"I haven't heard much from him but my parents get updated regularly I think" I just wanted to close off this topic and enjoy the date. So I quickly changed the topic.
"So I heard you are going to be the captain of the football team."
"Where did you hear that from?" Adam demanded. Oh it worked.
"We haven't told anyone about this. Coach is going to announce it next week" Adam seemed worried.
"Idiot. Everyone knows about it. Even our school, so all in yours would know about it too eh" I announced. I heard it from Rina. God knows where she gets all the information from.
"No wonder people keep congratulating me. I thought it was because I scored amazingly on the test we did on History. It's impossible to score in that subject." He chuckled.
Right that moment a waiter came up to our table.
"What would you guys like to order? Would you like the menu?"
"Yes please" Adam replied.
We both continued to look through the menu in comfortable silence for a while and then we both decided we will share the tangy chicken dish and a salad.
I had my hand placed on the table, and was about to move when I felt warmth covering my hands. I looked up to see Adam had placed his hand over mine and was looking at me through the candle light. He had such warmth in his eyes that made my heart skip a beat.
"Mia, will you be my girlfriend?"
I was so startled I grabbed my hand back and thought girlfriend? This is our first date! Why is he moving so fast. There's so much moving on I can do at one go. I looked up to find Adam looking at me with such intensity that I faltered.
