Alpha Lane Winters
My wolf raged inside me. I couldn't even contain him.
I snarled as they dragged the rogue scum out of Angela's home.
Angela. My heart dropped and my wolf was whining and howling through the growls.
He had taken her, she was gone. I couldn't take it. Everything I had done was to protect her.
But I should've known that I can't escape my fate.
I watched my sister trail behind the guards. Tears were in her eyes as she followed the rogue.
He was staring at her with dark eyes and I growled. He'd taken everything from me.
My family, my mate. Now, I would take his life.
Safír was slumped against the wall while several healers tried to wake him.
"Alpha, he has some severe hemorrhaging he may not wake up for quite some time," Ren said as some enforcers brought in a gurney.
I snarled. "Take him to the infirmary, have Loki meet me in the dungeon."
Ren nodded. "Yes Alpha."
The house had grown quiet as everyone had gone back across the street.
I stood in Angela's living room in silence. My wolf had grown quiet and my thoughts had slowed.
I spotted her puppy cowering under the coffee table.
Slowly he came out and sat at my feet. I looked at the ground, trying to process the sudden loss of her.
"You fool, she should have been with us. We are the only ones who can keep her safe!" My wolf screamed at me and I raged.
My claws extended and I began to rip the room apart.
I roared as I shifted fully and tore the couch in half.
Her puppy was back to cowering by the fire place as I snapped and snarled like a rabid animal.
"Alpha?" Loki's voice flowed through the link.
"The prisoner is demanding to speak with you and your sister won't let us touch him," Loki said as I shifted back.
I walked towards the puppy and picked him up. I walked out of the house and across the road.
"Move her to the east wing and have Ren sedate her, I will be there soon." I ordered as I made it up the drive and to the door.
"Yes Alpha," he replied and the link closed.
I went inside and handed off the puppy to a random enforcer, giving orders to take him to my private quarters.
I made my way through the pack house. As I passed I noticed the council surrounded by my enforcers.
"Take them to one of the bunkers, I want 20 guards on them at all times." I ordered and the enforcers nodded.
I noticed Ulysses give me a nod before they were escorted away.
The dungeon was the darkest place in the house. The stone walls were cold an were covered with moss.
It was quiet, we had very few prisoners. Up until now, very few had dared to trespass.
I made it to the cell where my men were crowding. Some commotion was drawing their attention and as I got nearer I could see my sister.
