Zoe's POV

As Draco and I made our way down the stairs, I suddenly saw the Weasleys and Harry glaring daggers at the man I just met a few minutes ago.

"Red heads? You must be Weasleys.. It's a pity that every school year you could only afford.. second hand books" Mr. Malfoy said as he gave them a smirk.

"Second hand books contain the same information as new books.. The only difference is that someone used it first."  I said as I made my way in front of Mr. Malfoy, giving him a sinister smirk which wiped away his smirk.

"In addition to your knowledge Mr. Malfoy, their books are not second hand." I said as I took a book on Ginny's couldron, showing it to Mr. Malfoy. He took it from my hand with a tug and examined the book..

"They are new indeed... where have you gotten the money to buy these?"  He said, eyeing the Weasleys.

"Lucius."  Mr. Weasley said, appearing behind the twins

"Ah, Arthur.. Pleasure meeting you here... I was just wondering where you got the money to buy all your children new books.. I wasn't informed that the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office had raised its salary." Mr. Malfoy said

Mr. Weasley was red from anger and it seems to me that he was about to get bloody mad at Mr. Malfoy. I can't blame Mr. Weasley though, Draco's father is certainly someone who you'd want to murder if you see his face.

"There is no benefit for knowing that sir,"  I said "some things are best left in the dark."

He somehow looked surprised with my words and gave me a fake smile. He then put Ginny's book back in her couldron.

"We'll be off.. It is a pleasure meeting you Ms. Jones. Let us now go Draco."  As Mr. Malfoy said this, he was walking away from us, Draco tailing closely behind. He gave me one last look before staring straight.

We were all making our way to platform 9¾. I still wonder how nobody notices a couple of humans running through the walls and suddenly disappear. I guess it's charmed in a way that nobody notices you go through it.

"Alright! Ladies first!" Mrs. Weasley said and Ginny and I smiled at each other as we ran towards the brick wall between platforms 9 and 10.

A feeling of adrenaline went in me as I went through the wall. I didn't feel anything at all, it was amazing! The rest of the Weasleys came through the wall.

"Go along you lot. The train might leave you if you don't get in."  Mr. Weasley said

"Last one would lick the toilet seat!"  I shouted and we all ran and made sure that our luggage was in the train and then we raced to an empty compartment.

Percy made it last and we were all laughing at him as he complained about how the twins tripped him a couple of times.

"It is not fair! The both of you clearly cheated! Zoe, you can't let them get away with this!"  Percy exclaimed, his face furious.

"Zoe never said anything about not cheating.. She said the last one would lick the toilet seat. And even if Fred and George cheated, you were still the last person to arrive." Ginny said, and we all nodded.

"Zoe!" I heard someone shout. We all looked out of the compartment to see Hermione with a smile on her face.

"Hi Hermione!"  Ginny and I said at the same time.

"Oh hi Ginny! Where's Ron and Harry?"  she suddenly asked, looking inside the compartment.

Oh Godric!

We were all silent for a good minute until Percy and the twins spoke.

"I have a meeting with the prefects. "

"We need to talk to Wood and Angelina."

And then they sprinted out. The three of us were dumbfounded and stared at each other.

"Come to think of it, I never saw Ron and Harry pass through the wall."  Ginny said, and the three of us were wide eyed

"You mean to say,"  Hermione continued, making her way into the compartment and sitting down "that Ron and Harry never boarded the train?!"

Ginny and I sat down as well

"I think so.." I said, still not registering the fact that Ron and Harry might not have boarded the train.

"This cannot be! How did they not get in the train?!"  Hermione asked, panicked evident in her features.

Suddenly, a picture of a small creature with bat-like ears appeared in my mind. I gasped as it finally made sense.

"Zoe, are you okay?"  Ginny asked, her hand on my shoulder.

"Dobby."  I simply said.

"What?"

"Dobby."  I repeated, and looked at the both of them.

They were both clueless as to what I was talking about so I took a deep breath and told them everything I know about Dobby. How I saw him pacing back and forth Harry's house, and how I confronted the house elf to spill the beans. I told them what Dobby said, that Harry must not go to Hogwarts until the last part where he simply vanished like smoke.

The both of them were silent as they stare out the window.

"Lucius Malfoy can be Dobby's master."  Hermione said, breaking the silence.

I looked at her and thought about it. It can be possible

"Yea.. The Malfoys are powerful purebloods, they're quite respected in the wizarding world because of the purity of their blood. It makes sense.. Because Lucius Malfoy was a faithful follower of you-know-who"  Ginny said, in support of what Hermione suggested.

"Talking about my father?"

We all looked at the door to see Draco leaning casually on the door. We were silent as he sat down beside me and wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Uhm.. Draco."  I said, uncomfortably

"Why are you talking about my father?"  He said

Hermione and Ginny looked at each other then at me. But they didn't say a word.

"What's got your wand in a knot? Did I not ask you a question?"  Draco said, in a demanding tone.

"Shut up Draco. Just leave."  Ginny said and glared at him

I felt Draco's hand on my waist tighten a bit.

"Fine. I will leave. But I'm taking Zoe with me." He suddenly stood up with his hand on my waist and I did so as well. Not by will though. He glared at Ginny and then looked at Hermione up and down and glared as well.

He then dragged me out of the compartment before I could even say a word to my friends.
