Zoe's POV
I'm currently in the astronomy tower with Zach and Death, as we discussed about everything that has happened related to us.

"You should confront your parents about this." Zach said and Death nodded.

"Since you're meeting your lost relatives during the holidays, and we'll do all the talking about you being Aunt Isabella's child, let me help you with your parents."

I nodded my head as I stared at the starry sky. What happens now? What if professor Snape tells everyone that I'm his daughter?

"I know it's a lot to take in cousin... I say we go and rest." Zach stood up and helped me as well and then went down the long stairs of the astronomy tower. I've been quiet, because I still can't believe that Professor Snape is my father.

Zach then separated from us as he went to his dormitory, while Death and I were making our way to my bedroom in Slytherin. I won't see my father there because he went out the castle to do some errands. As Death and I walked, he suddenly stop, his eyes looking around the dimly lit hallways of Hogwarts.

"Is something wrong Death?" I asked, tugging his black jacket.

His eyebrows furrowed as he ignored me and was alert.
"I sense a beast. A big, dangerous beast."

He then held my hand gently as we walked silently. Beast? In Hogwarts? Don't tell me that it's a troll.

"It isn't a troll. Now keep your thoughts to nothing and let me guide you to safety."

I huffed and let Death look like a paranoid human being, looking around and sniffing for something. I copied his actions, I observed the empty hallway and sniffed like a dog, but the only thing I smell that was quite odd...

Food.

I furrowed my eyebrows and released Death's hold of me. I then followed my sense of smell to wherever it came from.

"Zoe! What the bloody hell? Come back here! There's a beast in the castle and you're following the scent of food? Are you crazy?!" Death whisper-shouted
