Zoe's POV
After going out on Hogsmeade with Draco, we became busy as Goblins. The Holidays are getting near which means our workload is getting more and more stressful. With only a few days before the Christmas break, we need to submit everything before returning home. That means 2 parchments for transfiguring a human to an animal and vice versa, a brief history about the four founders of Hogwarts, how to make giggle water and a lot more.
"Could you drink this for me?" Hermione said as she handed me a glass of liquid.
Hermione and I are making giggle water here in the Girls lavatory, since we need to pass a bottle of it to Professor Snape and let him do his thing as a Professor. I'm still distant with him, since I have some questions in mind that I need to be answered, not by him, but by Zach's relatives. I'm not even sure if I'll get to meet them, since mum and dad are quite protective over me. And to have Zach pick me up at my house to meet his family? To my parents that'd sound like he's courting me or that we're already dating.
Back at the subject, I stopped stirring the ingredients in my cauldron and took the glass Hermione offered me. Now, you must be wondering why we're making Giggle water here in the girls lavatory. The answer is quite simple. Professor Snape didn't allow us to do the potions in the dungeons, and since no one ever really comes here, we both agreed to make the potion in this quiet lavatory, with Moaning Myrtle accompanying us, telling tales about her life before she died or guiding us on making the potion. She's quite intelligent. We found out that she was a Ravenclaw but she was bullied because of her massive glasses.
I stared at the liquid on the glass for a little while and then drank the whole thing. Hermione and Myrtle looked at me expectantly. I suddenly felt a tickle on my insides and I giggled.
"You've got a lovely giggle Zoe... And it works!" Hermione said as she smiled proudly at Myrtle.
"Try mine!" I said excitedly and poured on the glass my finished product of the giggle water.
As she took the glass and drank all its contents, an adorable giggle escaped her lips.
Hermione looked at me, her eyes wide in amusement, and laughed. I can't help but laugh as well.
"I'd love to drink this if I feel down. It just tickles on the insides!" Hermione said and gave off another laugh.
"Shall we put it in the bottle?"
"We shall."
As Hermione and I carefully filled our own bottle with giggle water, Myrtle suddenly spoke.
"If given the chance, I would hope to live in this time."
I stopped with what I was doing and looked at Myrtle. She looked sad, its as if she was about to cry.
"Seeing the both of you, and then Harry and Ron, it makes me want to live in this time so that I could be friends with the four of you. Everyone would avoid me, they say I'm weird and that I cry out loud because of the littlest of things, but they don't understand that I'm just sensitive."
"We are your friends," Hermione said, putting her own bottle down and looking at Myrtle with a smile. "There still are people who are bullies... let's take Malfoy for an example." she then glanced at me and then looked back at Myrtle.
"Since I am a muggle-born, he calls me a mudblood just because of it. The point is there will still be bullies and it'll hurt you no matter what. You just have to be strong."
"And we'll be your friend. We'll visit more often." I said and gave her a smile.
She smiled as well and giggled and then she floated away.
