Chapter 16: Tell me What I Don't Know

Zoe's POV

After our talk about Isabella, Professor Snape was acting differently around me. He was distant; it was as if he doesn't even want to see me. He doesn't even call me anymore when I raise my hand, he doesn't acknowledge my presence when he talks to my friends. I think the only time he acknowledged my existence was when I asked him about our project in potions... and that's that.

"This is so frustrating!" I exclaimed as I buried my face on the books in front of me. I'm in the library with Zach as we both did our homework.

Zach and I have been really close since the moment that we had a theory that maybe we are related. He's fun to be with, I actually see myself in him, except that I'm more awesome.

"What is? Let me see." Zach said as he took my parchment and the book in front of me.

I rolled my eyes and took my parchment and book back.

"Not this, I feel agitated. Since the day Professor Snape asked me questions about Isabella, he's been distant. Before he was so kind, so caring, he was my father in this school, but since that day he avoided me in every single way possible."

Zach was silent for awhile as his eyes wander around the library. He seemed to be thinking so I just continued on doing my homework. I started to write on my parchment about one-eyed giants, more commonly known as cyclops.

"I have another theory." Zach suddenly said and I looked at him to urge him to continue on

"Professor Snape seems to be really affected by Aunt Isabella... what if... what if he's Aunt Isabella's husband?" As Zach said this, my eyebrows furrowed... It's possibl-

I stopped my thoughts as darkness suddenly engulfed me.

A vision.

I stopped moving as I concentrated on what the future will hold.

But instead of the future, I saw the past.

We're in Gringotts, the wizarding bank. Hagrid, Harry and I were looking at the vault in front of us as the goblin talked to Hagrid.

"Key please." Said griphook, and Hagrid gave him the key.

"This one's yers Zoe." Hagrid told me. I nodded and waited patiently for the door to open. When it did, I was beyond gawking. I can't even describe how shocked I was. The vault was big! And there was no space to step on because of the amount of golden coins and treasures in there...

"H-how on Earth?" I said, a little louder.

"Yeh know Zoe, yer parents save this all for yeh. And Severus and Isabella been savin' it for ye-"

"Who's Severus and Isabella?" I asked. I have no idea who they are. And I'm quite aware that my parents' name aren't Severus and Isabella... So who?

"ZOE!" I heard Zach's voice say as I was once again back in the library.

"Are you okay? You were stiff as stick and those white dots in your eyes started moving."

I was breathing heavily as my vision made me realize something.

Hagrid knows something about Professor Snape and Isabella.

I stood up and dragged Zach out of the library, leaving our stuff. No one would dare steal them anyway.

"Zoe! Where are we going??? We left our bags-"

"No one would steal them if you're worried... We're going to Hagrid's hut, there's something important that we must know."

 But before I even knew it, I was cornered in a wall, my eyes wide in surprise as Zach held my shoulders and looked at me seriously.

"Zach, what are you-"

"Tell me why the white dots in your eyes started moving... Tell me what I don't know."

I sighed and rolled my eyes. I've been rolling my eyes lately... It's becoming a habit.  "Look, I'm a seeker, a person who has the ability to see the future and sometimes the past. I had a vision. It was more like a flashback, wherein Harry, Hagrid and I were in the bank at Gringotts, Hagrid somehow knew something about Professor Snape and Isabella... and we have to find out what are the things that he knows-"

"About Professor Snape and Isabella." Zach finished, nodding at the same time, as if everything makes sense.

He then dragged me as we went to Hargrid's hut, determination evident on his face. I just chuckled at this and let Zach drag me to Hagrid's place.

Draco's POV

I was making my way to the Great Hall when I suddenly spotted Zoe. My heart seemed to beat a little faster and a smile suddenly formed on my face as I saw her, her ebony black hair swaying from left to right as she walked briskly, she was so beautiful that when you just look at her, time was passing by me, yet I couldn't care less, because I saw the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

But suddenly, my smile faltered as I saw her holding hands with a Ravenclaw. I've seen him before, he approached her with the rest of his friends and sat beside her. I just stared at them the whole time as I saw their interaction, I even saw them flinch when they touched hands, but what seemed to anger me was that this pathetic Ravenclaw held her hand again, and after some talk they both went out, hand in hand.

It angered me to see them together. Everyday they were together, except when classes started. But they never failed to see each other. I am angry at myself as well because I can't seem to approach them even if I wanted to, maybe it's because she was so happy, she was enjoying her company with that Ravenclaw. Pathetic.

I was fuming with anger... She should not hang out with any boy than me. Only me. But I still can't approach them, so I walked away in a different direction... I will get to them when I had enough.

Zoe's POV

I knocked on Hagrid's door and we waited for him to open it. As the door opened Hagrid welcomed us with a cup of rum as he smiled and invited us in.

"What brings yeh here? Who's this fella?" Hagrid asked as he smiled at Zach.

"I'm Zach Vitali, Zoe's cousin." He said as he shook hagrid's enormous hands.

I rolled my eyes as Zach told Hagrid that we were cousins... He seems to like the idea and he's been bragging about it when he introduces me to his friends or when I introduce him to my friends.

"I didn't know yeh had a cousin Zoe."

"Me neither." I said and Hagrid looked at me questioningly.

Zach and I shared a look. It's time to ask him questions. I took a deep breath as I gave Hagrid a serious look.

"Hagrid, please tell me what you know about Professor Snape and Isabella."
