Chapter 10: Electrify

Zoe's POV

The sun has finally set and we were all gathered in the Great Hall for our dinner. It's been an ordinary day for us, going to class and learning new things, going to the library with Hermione and finishing our homework and having fun by spending time with my friends. It's just ordinary.

I was sitting with my friends, Alexandra and Delphi, her younger sister. They were both in Slytherin. Alexandra has been my friend from the moment I sat with them during Quidditch. Her younger sister, Delphi, looks just like her, with brown, wavy hair and misty green eyes. She looks beautiful

We were having a regular conversation, asking how our day was and if anything peculiar has happened.

As the three of us ate, a couple of Ravenclaw boys, a year older than us, approached our table and gave us a smile.

"Hello ladies, I'm Zachary Vitali, but you can call me Zach.. These are my friends, Chad Wiston and Ace Cladwell."

As the boy I know now as Zack spoke, they gave us a small wave. I have got to admit, they do look dashing. Zach had brown, curly hair, he had bangs that reached his eyes so he does a little movement with his head so that his bangs would go to the side. He had blue eyes that are quite remarkable if you stare at it because it seemed like you were looking at the ocean, calm and deep. He had a cute smile because of his dimple and a little nerdy because he wore glasses.

Chad, on the other hand, looked muscular than Zach and Ace, it was obvious that he had a good built on his body by just looking at the outline of his uniform. He's blonde and has a killer smile. I reckon ladies swoon over that, wouldn't blame them tho. His eyes were an astonishing green,it reminded me of a green field, in addition, his stare was captivating, it's like when he stares at you and you look into those green eyes, you can't seem to look away.

Lastly, Ace Cladwell had a kind aura on him. It seems to me that he loves to help other people and that he is shy. He had brown hair, same as Zach, and his eyes were chocolate brown, he gave me a kind smile but he seems really shy. He too wore glasses but they were big to the point that it would be the first thing you'd notice.

"Hello.. May we help you?"  Alexandra asked, looking at the three Ravenclaws.

"Would you mind if we sit with you three?"  Zach asked, hope in his eyes

"Why not? It's nice to have new company."  I said and the three of them found their seats.

Alexandra and I were beside each other, while Delphi was in front of us, Zach sat beside me, Chad sat beside Alexandra and Ace sat beside Delphi. A plate appeared in front of the three and they ate and talked with us.

"I've heard a lot about you."  I heard Zach whisper on my ear. I looked at him and furrowed my eyebrows.

"What have you heard about me?"  I asked, curious.

"I've heard that your eyes look like you're staring at the night sky, because it has white dots that resembles a star. I've also heard that you're the Slytherin Princess as well as the Gryffindor Princess. I've heard that you're smart, kind, and a little sassy to your enemies... And that you're breathtakingly beautiful."

I just stared at Zach as he stared at me as well.. My mind was all fuzzy from the moment he said that I'm breathtakingly beautiful.

"Are you trying to flirt with me?"  I asked bluntly, which took him by surprise. He then laughed silently and looked down at the table, his hands covering his face. I peaked to see him blushing and I found it cute.
