Austen's fingers dig into my skin as his hungry lips try to pry mine open. My first kiss...wasted to this dickhead. A knock is heard by the both of us on my bedroom door.

"Lainey? You in there darlin'?" i hear Alex's voice say. I try to scream for him to come and help me, but i'm only cut off by Austen's raspy voice whispering in my ear,

"Kiss me back or i swear i will throw him out with the walkers and let him turn." I gasp slightly as the tears slip down my face and i slowly nod just as Austen brings his hard lips down on mine. I begin to kiss him back slowly just as the door of my room opens and Alex walks in. He looks at me and Austen's connected lips and i can see the betrayal in his eyes.

"Lainey...i thought.." he stutters as a single tear slips down his face. Austen pulls away from me and smirks at Alex.

"Looks like she loves me now." Alex looks at me one more time with more pain in his eyes than i've ever seen, before walking out my door with his head down and shoulders slumped.

~2 weeks later~

It's been two weeks since Alex caught Austen and me kissing. And it hurts...because i can't tell him that i didn't enjoy it. Austen already told me that if i did...Alex would be long gone. I can't believe i ever let this monster into our safe haven. I should've known that he couldn't be trusted. Alex was right about that, and i regret not listening to him. We haven't said a word to each other in the past two weeks. Not one word. I want to apologize and tell him why i betrayed him. And i'm thinking of doing that tonight, when everyone is asleep. I'll sneak into Alex's bedroom, wake him up, and tell him everything. That's my plan. Let's hope it works.

~Later that night~

 I couldn't even fall asleep. I'm too anxious about tonight. I have to get Alex to listen to me and hear me out. That's the easy part. The hard part is sneaking past Austen's room without making a sound, because Alex's room is right after Austen's. Very inconvenient. I turn the doorknob and silently exit the room. I walk very slowly and try to avoid every creaky place on the hard-wood floor. I walk past the archway leading to the kitchen, where the back door also. Just as i get passed the arch, i hear the one thing i don't want to hear. The sound of hungry Walkers.

I nearly scream as 3 walkers enter the hallway where i'm standing paralyzed.  Just as i begin to bang on Alex's door, he jumps out in only a pair of pajama pants with his machete in his  hands. I bang into the opposite wall and point to the walkers gathering in the hall without a word. Zack and Austen are already slicing into some walker brains. Alex clears the hallway so i can get to my room, and he runs into the kitchen to help Zack and Austen. I sprint to my room and grab one of my pistols and my hunting dagger while racing back into the hallway to kick some walker butt.

I'm so sorry i haven't updated! My laptop crashed, so i won't be updating a lot until i get it fixed. Also sorry for cliffhangers c;
