I immediately reach for my pistol in the waistband of my jeans, but realize that i had forgotten at the farm house.
"CLIMB!" Alexander yells and shoves me towards the tree. I begin climbing the large trunk and feel Alexander helping me climb under me. I get to a large branch and lean my back against the trunk.
"Where did this herd come from, Alex?" i ask, once we calm down a bit.
"I have no idea." he replies through gritted teeth, "But i feel like something lured them here." He takes hold of my hand and picks me up so i'm on his lap, as we wait and pray that we get down soon.
~6 hours later~
I jolt awake, totally forgetting where i was, and almost falling off of this huge tree. Alex circles his arm around my waist, not letting me fall to my death.
"Thanks." i say, catching my breath.
"Come here," he says and pulls me back into his lap. I pull my knees up to my chest as he wraps his arms around me. He leans forward and looks at the empty ground.
"We should go back home." he says quietly after a few moments of sitting in each other's arms.
"Mkay, lead the way," I say as we both make our way down the huge oak tree.
We walk for about an hour, back to the farmhouse, where we're greeted by Austen and Zack yelling and hugging us. Well...me. Alex just kinda stood there with his arm still around my waist as Austen and Zack throw themselves at me for hugs, yelling at me.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" hug. "WE'VE BEEN WORRIED SICK!" hug. "WHERE DID Y'ALL GO!?" hug. "WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU!?" Zack screams when he sees the long scratch on my forehead from the branches on the tree. I step away from him before he can pull me into a hug.
"He didn't do anything to me except make me happy. Unlike You." I sneer and wrap my arms around Alex's waist.
"Lain-..." Zack starts, but ends up being cut off by me lifting my hand up and slapping him across the face,
"Don't you dare try and make this better. We will NEVER be friends like we used to be." And i stalk upstairs to my room.
I wake up and immediately head to Alex's room, finding his sleeping form. His eyes flutter open slowly and he grins at me with barely opened eyes.
"Good Morning Lai" he says sleepily.
"Mornin'' I'm wearing my favorite pair of black skinny jeans and one of my faded Black Veil Brides t-shirts. I remember how i used to dance around my bedroom and sing along to them. "In the End" was my favorite song. I knew every single lyric to it. Now i barely remember the tune. Everything's changed so much. And it's not a good change.
Hey Guys!!! I'm so sorry about the late update. I've been really busy.
