Chapter 8: Look who's back

Ashley's p.o.v

Today was Saturday, yay no school that means I get to sleep...I looked and it was 7 am, I sighed and rolled on my bed. I couldn't help but think about Dylan and what happened yesterday. My first party was a mess, and still, no sign of Valentino. Let me die!

And when I thought I would be able to sleep, ugh. I got off the bed and wore my black leggings and a sports jacket. I tied my hair into a bun and took my phone with my earphones before leaving the house. Oh shit, I forgot to tell steph, so I decided to send her a message telling her I was going jogging.

I put my earphones on and listened to heart of a warrior by dizzee rascal while jogging...After about 15 minutes I stopped running since I was a lazy couch potato and decided to go get a drink from Starbucks. I took my drink before leaving, once I got out, I saw someone very familiar, it was a guy, his back was turned and he was walking fast..he looked so much like Val but I can't see his face.

'Val!' I called him but he only walked faster, so I ran after him, he then took his left, he went in an alley, I saw a group of boys there..Dylan was there too.

'Ashley?' Dylan raised his eyebrows looking at me, everyone turned around and eyed me. And then, I felt like my heart has stopped.

'Ashley?!' Val's eyes widen.

'You know her?' Dylan asked.

'Shes my sister' Val answered.

'Not anymore' I shook my head before leaving. I tried not to cry but did anyway, I ran as fast as my feet could take me, and once I got there, I told Stephanie who I just saw.

'I thought he left town' Stephanie confessed.

'And I thought something happened to him...stephie he didn't even bother to call, it's been more than a week. He didn't even ask about dad!' I cried.

'Everything will be fine don't worry.. I just don't understand what is he doing' steph shook her head. Those guys with Dylan were probably his gang...that means Val is in their gang..that's why he's been disappearing at nights?

'Don't tell me it will be okay, cause I know it won't' I told her before she hugged me.

Valentino's p.o.v

'You didn't tell us you had a sister' tyler said.

'She probably hates my guts right now' I confessed.

'Why?' Max asked.

'Last week my dad died' I told them.

'Wait, what do you mean? Isn't he Ashley's dad too?'Dylan questioned.

'This a really long story' I said clearly not in the mood to explain.

'Tell us' tyler said.

'Ashley..was adopted' I sighed.

'And you never told her? What kind of brother does that, if you're not gonna do it I will' Dylan threw a tantrum.

'What the actual fuck is wrong with you Dylan, that has nothing to do with you!' I yelled getting in his face.

'Maybe it does. Because when you were not here, I had to look after your sister' Dylan yelled.

'No one asked you to' I told him.

'Well if it wasn't for me, a Psychopath would have raped her' he uttered and I snapped. I punched the wall hard before leaving.

I went home as fast as I could, and without even talking to Stephanie I rushed upstairs. I went to open Ashley's room door but it was locked.

'Ashley what are you doing' I yelled but she didn't answer.

'Ashley open the door!' I roared.

'Ill break it' I threatened her but she didn't answer.

'Valentino leave the girl alone, she's mad at you right now' Stephanie yelled downstairs but I wasn't having any of it. I kicked the door open to find ashley pretending to be sleeping.

'I know you're awake..you always do that when you don't want to talk to me' I told her.

'Ash' I called her but shes still didn't move. I tickled her and that's when she fell off the bed laughing, but then she started crying, then laughed again, and then she glared at me. Bipolar much.

'Leave me alone' she spoke.

'Ash I'm sorry' I said.

'Val..dad is dead' she cried.

'I knew that..that's why I needed a break time, alone from all the mess' I said.

'But you left again. Without even calling..I thought you were gone too' she said wiping her tears.

'I promise I'll never leave you again ash' I said wrapping my arms around her. I should really tell her...I know about her real parents. Her real dad died as well, he was in the army...but her birth mom is still alive. She'll be devastated if I tell her.

'Ashley I need to tell you this' I started...oh shit.

'Yeah?' She asked.

Should I just spit it out?

'You were adopted ash...I'm not your real brother'
