Chapter 12: As if Val wasnt enough

Ashley's p.o.v

'Ashley' someone sang.

'Ugh I wanna sleep' I groaned placing the pillow on my head.

'You have to go to school' it was Dylan's voice.

'Just..five more minutes' I yawned.

'ASHLEY' he yelled and I jumped up.

'DYLAN WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU AS IF VAL WASNT ENOUGH' I yelled back.

'Nice pjs' he tried not to laugh. It was ninja turtles.

'Yeah I watch cartoons, problem?' I raised my eyebrows.

'Nope' he bit his lip.

'And why are we going to school?' I asked.

'No Hun, you're going to school, because it's Monday and you have a math exam, I, am staying here with the gang, and planning our next move on April.

'But I don't wanna go to school' I whined.

'Grow up' he rolled his eyes.

'Never' I grinned.

'Peasant' he sighed.

'Goodie bear' I bursted out laughing.

'What the fuck is that a nickname or something?!' He gasped.

'It is now' I said laughing my ass off.

'Aw hell no' he shook his head.

'Now you can leave cause I need to wear some clothes for school' I told him.

'Ha so you're going' he uttered.

'Its better than staying with you and Val in this house' I joked.

'Oh shut up' he said before leaving.

I took a fast shower before putting on my ripped jeans and a nirvana shirt, with a pair of black converse, I then rushed downstairs.

I saw Lucas, tyler, max, Dylan and Val in the living room.

'Where's stephie?' I asked.

'At work' Val answered.

'Okay, I'm leaving bye guys' I was about to leave but Val called me.

'Lucas is going with you' Val informed me.

'Are you even a student there?' I laughed.

'Nope, I'm 23 honey' Lucas chuckled.

'The town is not safe with April being out there, she might try to target you that's why Lucas will stay with you' Val said.

'Okay...' I awkwardly answered.

'Can We ride your motorcycle?' I asked Val.

'As long as Lucas drives' he replied.

'Sure' I lied.

Lucas and I got out and after begging him for five minutes he finally accepted to let me drive.

'Okay hold on to me tight' I said as he looked bored.

I was going so fast.

'This is fun' I shouted.

'Slow down ashley!' He yelled.

'Don't worry I got this' I said but then he took control and it was normal again.

'You guys are really not a fun gang' I said.

'We are, just not around you, cause if you fall Val will kill me' he said.

I finally made it to my class and I had a math exam I did not study for.

The teacher who was with us was really dumb, I was thankful that means I get to Cheat...okay I didn't do that usually but hey I didn't have time to study with all the drama going on.

The smartest student was sitting next to me, I'm so getting an A.

'So where are we going now?' I asked Lucas.

'Home' he answered.

'Ugh no I'm bored' I told him.

'Don't you wanna know if the guys found any information yet?' He said.

'Yeah you're right' I replied.

We went back home to find no one but Val and Dylan.

'Where are tyler and max?' I questioned.

'They left. We couldn't find anything all day long' Dylan complained.

'I'm sure we will eventually..I'm so scared' I confessed.

'She's not gonna hurt you' Val said.

'It's not me I'm worried about, but you guys' I whispered the last part.

'What?' Lucas asked.

'I might not know all of you...but you seem nicer than what I imagined, so yeah I care about you' I exclaimed.

'I feel special' Dylan mocked.

'Don't start' I commented, he just smirked.

Dylan's phone rang, and he got it.

'Yeah tyler?' He answered, 'What!? Alright stay there we're coming right now' Dylan said hanging up.

'They found her?' Lucas asked.

'Yeah, they saw her at a coffee and followed her to the house she's staying in, lets go' Dylan said as they all stood up.

'Im coming' I announced.

'You stay right here and you don't move' Val said, they all got out but when I was about to follow them, Val slammed the door in my face. Ugh seriously?

I opened the door and ran behind them.

Val and Lucas were out of my sight. I just saw Dylan.

'Dylan' I called him.

'I thought we told you not to come' he said as I just shrugged. But then he gave me a really weird look.

'Never mind, you're coming with me' he smirked.

Okay...I just followed him.

'Where is everyone?' I asked.

'They're making sure that she's alone, I have the best spying team I swear' Dylan said, I just nodded.

We arrived to her house finally, and saw tyler and max outside.

'Val and Lucas went to get the car' tyler stated.

'Okay good, tyler and max stay here in case she leaves the house, I'm breaking in' Dylan said before turning to face me 'and you're coming with me' he said.

'You know what on a second thought..I don't wanna be in the house of a serial killer..plus I don't wanna face my psychotic birth mom' I said. Okay I sounded like such a coward, but I was really scared.

Dylan pulled out a gun and pointed it at me.

'Dylan' tyler gasped.

'What the-' max started but he was short interrupted by Dylan.

'No one says a word' Dylan threatened.

'What are you doing?' I asked my voice shaking.

'You're going in there ashley, right now' he ordered.
