Dylan's p.o.vWe were still at Val's searching for every bit of information we could gather about April Jones, until I got a call from max.
'Whats wrong dude?' I asked cause he sounded really panicked.
'It's your mom man..' Max stuttered.
'Whats wrong?' I asked.
'I don't know what to say, just, we're in front of your house get there right now' he talked fast.
'Im coming' I said before hanging up and running towards my house, tyler and Val came with me, and ashley followed us..of course.
I saw my house on fire. No I must be dreaming.
'WHAT HAPPENED?' I yelled but max and Lucas didn't know what to say.
'SAY SOMETHING, ANYTHING' I yelled again.
'Shes dead man..your mom died in the fire' Lucas whispered.
I didn't know what to do, or what to say, I just stood there watching my house burn, knowing my mother's corpse was in there. I, just froze.
Many police men surrounded us.
'Dylan Good?' A police man asked.
'Yeah' I spoke.
'Your mom was not alone in that house, because someone choked her before putting the house on fire, do you know who could do something like that?' He asked.
'No I don't' I said before walking away, the gang following me.
'Dylan what if-' tyler started.
'APRIL FUCKING JONES' I yelled before kicking a trash can.
Ashley's p.o.v
I saw Dylan's house on fire, and I cried. Because his mom was truly an amazing person, she didn't deserve that, at all.
I stayed an hour just staring at the house, well what was left of it.
I then made my way towards my house. when I got in I found there was a gang reunion there, and Stephanie looked freaked out...Im guessing she found out about Val being in a gang.
'What took you so long?' Val asked.
I stared at all of them awkwardly before running to my room, Stephanie followed me.
I told Stephanie everything April Jones did to Dylan, and that the gang was sure it was April who burnt the house, or maybe sent someone to do the dirty work.
'Im guessing that's why Valentino refused to tell you' she looked down.
'It hurts knowing that's my real mom. I refuse to have that image of my mom. She's not. And she never will be. My mom is Danielle, Danielle carter, and she's resting in heaven now' I spoke.
'Danielle was your mom ashley, and nothing will ever change that, your parents raised you to become the strong person you are today, no one will take that title' she said hugging me.
'Could you call Dylan?' I asked her.
'Sure' she said.
'What?' He walked in closing the door.
'I just wanted to ask you why didn't you tell the cops about April?' I questioned.
'Well, first of all I'm not that innocent, and second, I'm going to kill her myself, jail is nothing compared to the pain Im gonna put her through, I don't care if that's your mom, and the fact that Val is your brother' Dylan said leaning on the wall.
He was hurt, and I couldn't be mad at his choice of words.
'Dylan I'm so sorry' I sighed.
'How is it your fault?' He raised his eyebrows.
'My life's a mistake anyway' I shrugged.
'Its not. You're the only light in Val's life, I can assure you that' he said.
'Where are you going to live?' I asked him.
'Val offered, but I'm staying only for a couple of days' he said.
'I just wanted to ask you, out of curiosity. The file I read said Melissa was not your real mom' I told him.
'She is, that file was fake' Dylan said.
'Im so sorry Dylan' I cried.
'You look more sad than me' he tried to smile.
'You look so neutral..you know you can cry' I told him placing my hand on his shoulder.
'Psh, I don't cry' he stated.
'What is that a rule?' I asked.
'Life's hard ash' he exhaled.
'It's late you should go to sleep' he said about to leave.
'Im not a kid you know' I joked.
'You kind of are' he forced a laugh before leaving.
I felt so bad for him, the way he keeps all his emotions in. It's bad. I mean, I do define myself as a tough person, although we all need to break down in a while, or we'll become a bomb ready to explode.
