Chapter 9: Troubkemaker

Ashley's p.o.v

'You were adopted ash..I'm not your real brother' Val said looking pained.

'You're kidding right?' I looked at him shocked.

'I wanted to tell you-' he started but was short interrupted.

'WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WANTED TO TELL ME?' I screamed getting up.

'Well after all the problems we went through, I just didn't have time!' He put his hands up in defense.

'SIXTEEN YEARS VAL, NOT ENOUGH TIME??' I yelled.

Stephanie came in suddenly.

'Whats going on?' She asked staring at us.

'You forgot to tell me I was adopted' I said casually.

'Ash..I..we-' she stuttered.

'Did you know that I used to go pray at the grave of my so called mom, and bring her flowers?' I broke down.

'Ashley my mom is still your mom' Val argued.

'I know that, BUT YOU COULD HAVE AT LEAST TOLD ME!' I barked.

'Im sorry' he sighed putting his head between his hands.

'Where are they?' I screeched.

'Your father died in the army' Val started.

'I didn't even get the chance to meet him. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL?' I screamed.

'Ashley your birth mom is still alive' Val proceeded.

'Liars. You're all liars' I spoke.

'Ashley-' Stephanie tried talking to me but I wasn't hearing any of it.

'Leave me alone!' I screamed storming off.

Val followed me downstairs.

'Where are you going ash?' He demanded grabbing my arm.

'At Sarah's' I lied leaving the house.

Well I wasn't technically at Sarah's but I was going to call her.

She answered.

'Sarah I need you' I cried.

'Ash what's wrong?!' She asked worried.

'I just found out I was adopted. I've been living a lie all those years' I told her.

'Wow..oh my god. I don't know what to say' she spoke.

'You don't have to say anything, I just need some air' I sighed.

'Where are you?' She asked.

'On my way to a club, can you come?' I invited her.

'Come at my place, you're not gonna get hammered tonight ash' Sarah said.

'I want to' I told her.

'You seriously haven't drank anything in your life, can you imagine what could happen' she explained.

'See you tomorrow then' I said hanging up the phone before going by myself.

I ordered a drink and sat alone. They didn't even ask for my ID, which was really weird but who cares.

I looked from the corner of my eye and saw Dylan and his gang over there, lets just hope he doesn't call Val or something id be in really deep shit, but he can't control my life, not anymore.

Ow shit, they just looked at me. And now Dylan and tyler are coming my way, great.

'Ash it's way passed your curfew' Dylan joked.

I didn't even smile.

'Whats wrong?' Dylan asked.

'Does Valentino know your even here?' Tyler raised his eyebrows.

'Who gives a rat's shit about him' okay I was really mad right now.

'You're underage you can't drink' Dylan stated.

'Honey so are you' I sassed, tyler laughed and Dylan glared at him.

'But I'm still older than you' Dylan shrugged.

'Yeah, well, anyway get back to your gang' I said before standing up and going to the bar to get another drink.

It was probably my sixth drink, or seventh I don't know I'm lost.

'Ashley' Sarah said.

'Oh heeeyyy you're here!' I waved at her.

'Oh god you're drunk' she facepalmed.

'No I'm ashley Carter' I bursted out laughing while Sarah just rolled her eyes.

'The waiter is so hot' I said winking at him.

'Ash he heard you, lower your voice' she ordered me.

'I feel like, I'm the best in the worlddd' I started jumping up and down.

'Let's go home' Sarah demanded.

'Aw hell no' I said before skipping everywhere.

'You're such a child, stop!!' Sarah almost begged.

'YOU LOOK SO PERFECT STANDING THERE' I screamed on the top of my lungs.

Sarah disappeared suddenly, but then came back with Dylan.

'Awwwww Sarah and Dylan are friends now' I slurred.

'Lets take her at my place, my parents aren't there, plus we can't take her home cause Val will go crazy if he sees her like this, I'll call her aunt and tell her she slept at my place' Sarah told Dylan.

'Deal' Dylan said.

'Oh I'm not going anywhere' I was about to skip off somewhere before Dylan carried me on his shoulder.

'AHHHHHHHH THE GANG LEADER HE'S KIDNAPPING ME HELP!!!!!' I screamed and everyone in the club looked at us.

'No no, relax everyone that's her brother, and she's lying cause she's drunk' Sarah said out loud.

Dylan drove us to Sarah's place.

'Take her upstairs I need to call Val' I heard Sarah say.

Dylan carried me upstairs and placed me on Sarah's bed. He was about to leave when I called him.

'What?' He asked.

I stood up and went towards him.

'You're so cute Dylan, can i kiss you' I slurred.

'Ashley, you're drunk. Go and sleep it off' he said.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he looked shocked, I was about to kiss him but he backed away.

'Ashley I'm sorry, I'd love to...just not like this, you're drunk, and you're upset' he said.

'You're rejecting me?' I laughed.

'I don't even care about you, I'll find someone else to do it' I shrugged.

'If I didn't stop you, tomorrow you'd be regretting it, so just sleep it off' he suggested.

'Wait don't go, I'm sad' I told him.

'Why?' He asked.

'I'm adopted and I don't know Val hasn't been the same lately, and Im just missing...people' I told him.

'Its not the end of the world, listen, you and Val only have each other left, praise that' he said.

'Yeah you're probably right' I sat on the bed.

'Im always right' he stated.

'Thanks dylan for everything' Sarah said coming in.

'Oh yeah Sarah, tyler wants your number' Dylan winked at her.

'Well tell him he'll have to come and get it himself' Sarah sassed and Dylan chuckled.

That's everything I've heard before I fell asleep.
