Chapter 6 : dont mess with a gang leader

I opened my phone this morning and realized I had a message from Liam smith, wait what? I opened it and saw it was an invitation for the party he was throwing tonight, It would be my first party..that's really funny I'm 16 years old, while on the other hand, all seniors are like 17 or 18.. I'm probably the youngest, since I entered school at a really young age.

'Ashley you're going to be late!' Stephanie called.

'Ill be downstairs in a second' I called.

I took my bag before going downstairs, I saw Sarah there.

'Didn't know you were here' I said.

'Lets go we're going to be late' she said.

'Okay okay' I sighed.

'Have a good day' Stephanie told us.

'Thanks same to you' we said before leaving.

'Sarah guess what!?' I said jumping up and down.

'What?! She asked.

'Liam invited me to his party!' I cheered.

'Liam invited all seniors to his party ash' Sarah facepalmed.

'I just like him a lot...he's so perfect!!' I sighed.

'So anyways, what did you find in Dylan's file?' She asked concerned.

'That his dad got killed by a Mexican gang and apparently they're coming after Dylan, and that his mom Melissa is not actually his real mom...I don't know Sarah it was confusing I barely understood a few things, plus you were right, I saw a lot of money In that suitcase, I'm guessing he sells drugs' I told her.

'I told you he was bad news. I just wish we could get your diary back' she shook her head.

'I know right' I sighed.

We got to school, and each one of us went separate ways for class, now I had math...ugh.

The teacher explained a new chapter, and let me say I didn't understand anything, not even a single word.

'Miss carter  are you lost?' Mister Charles asked.

'I just didn't understand anything you just said' I told him, a few people laughed, what well at least I was being honest.

'Liam can you please sit next to miss carter and explain to her?' Mister Charles asked Liam. OH GOD!

'Sure' Liam said before sitting next to me.

'His smile, his hair, his dimples, just everything about him makes my heart melt' Dylan read out loud something. Wait a minute, THAT WAS MY DIARY!

The whole class was laughing, but they didn't know it was me who wrote that...yet.

'Mister good are you coming out?' Mister Charles asked shaking his head.

'Nah it's just some girl who wrote that about Liam, it would be nice to share' Dylan looked straight at me.

Act normal ash, and no one will notice.

'Some girl called ashley' Dylan taunted. Oh fuck.

'You mean ashley the newbie?' Gail asked glaring at me.

'Probably, I don't know, just found a love poem concerning smith, written by a certain ashley' Dylan teased.

'Enough! Get back to work!' Mister Charles yelled.

Liam acted as if he heard nothing and started explaining me the lesson, I would just nod, not even looking at him, this was way too embarrassing.
