Nandini was still in shock..Cabir's words acted as a hangover..her tears had got a way down her cheeks..

"please be by his side..at least tonight" 

those words of Cabir were enough to make Nandini run upto Manik..the first thing that her eyes noticed on entering room was her's and Manik's pics everywhere around the room..the pictures just played a motion film infront of her eyes..Manik had captured every detail and prisioned every memory in his room.. 

"was Cabir talking about this memory??" pondered Nandini.

Manik was still lying on the bed with the bandages all around as a proof of his injury..Manik's blood was still flowing from the corner of his lips..Nandini walked up to his cupboard to get the first-aid kit..she pulled out the first-aid kit and was about to close the cupboard when she found a drawer open..she found a thick fat book infact a scrap book lying there..she dragged it out..she opened the first page to see "MEMORIES" written in bold letters.

As she turned the page she found a chotu natrajpencil attached to the page with caption

"Nandu's first gift to me..a pencil..i promise to keep it with me humesha"she was shocked..she herself didn't remember about it..

Nandini had gifted her pencil to Manik on his 5th b'day as this pencil was lucky for her..when she turned the next page she was confused..only a black thread like something was pasted..she went for the caption

"NAJAR SURAKSA KAWAACH..Nandu gave it to me to protect me from girls bewitching eyes.."

"Manik tum na yeh dhaaga humesha aapne sath rakna..it will protect you from the girls jo humesha tumhe ghoorte hein..chii I don't like them"Nandini herself smiled at her innocence remembering the incident.

Next page was more confusing it had just a piece of shirt with a button "this is the button which Nandu herself sewed for me before our annual day duet performance..thanks Nandu ke aiyappa for breaking my button"

Nandini was awestruck..Manik remembered each and every thing regarding her..every action of hers towards him..she slowly kept turning the pages to find a lot more of them..

"aiyappa's locket..actually Nandu is leaving for UK so before going she gave me this..i promise to keep it with me forever and humesha"

Nandini found this line of preserving the things forever in every page..she turned the last page..there was nothing in the page but just a note attached to it

"I always knew you but just as a best friend..when you left me I realized my feeling for you and I left my heart unbend.i didn't delve in memories for they would only make me cry.accepting my feelings for you I had to give a try.so I fell in love with you and will never let you go.i love you more than anything.i just had to let you know..."

Nandini was hypnotized with Manik's feelings for her..her tears also stopped flowing because they themselves realized that they were very small to express Nandini's feeling as compared to Manik's..Nandini went near Manik adjusting herself in the bed she started wiping his blood..
