Chapter 11 ~ Canceled date

My heart raced as Jimin's soft lips touched my skin giving me a tingly feeling, I closed my eyes as he kept on giving soft,light kisses around my neck. Suddenly Jimin stopped and looked at me."Y/N do you wanna go to the beach with me?" My eyes lit up and I felt very exited "beach? Yes yes I would love to" I said as I wrapped my arms around Jimn's neck. "great, let's go at about 5pm,how does that sound?" "hmm good idea" I said and smiled at him.

It was now around 11a.m and Jimin got a sudden call and had to leave for 2 hours so I thought of making something he would like. I happily took the ingredients and started making a chocolate cake, as he told he won't be home for lunch. I finished making the cake and stored it away. Hours past and I realized how boring it is without Jimin, at 4:30 I got a message and I was from Jimin,

Jimin- I'm sorry I took more than 2 hours but I won't be late for our first date.
Me- It's okay chimchim
Jimin- I'll come at 5 to pick you up so get dressed
Me- okay I will

I checked the time and it was already 4:40, I got 20 minutes left which was enough for me. I went to my room and decided to wear a red and black sky pattern dress. I took a bath and wore the dress by applying very light makeup . God I'm so exited, I went to the living room and waited till jimin came to pick me up. Time was flying and it passed 5pm. I called Jimin's number but it was busy so I texted him but there was no reply.

Now it was 6:00pm and there was no sight of jimin and this time he didn't pick up his phone. Suddenly it started to rain terribly, rainy days always make me remember my mum. At times like these she would prepare some hot chocolate and we would drink together watching TV. As the thought of my mother came to my mind without knowing I fell asleep on the couch.

Jimin P.O.V

Today we had an official meeting with some other groups which I thought wouldn't take long but it took so much time mainly because of the promotion work. I wanted to leave soon but there was so much work to do, even Namjoon hyung was all moody because he had a date with his girlfriend but had to cancel that. I got in the car at 6:30pm and noticed that I had 13 missed calls and 2 messages, all from Y/N. It was raining awfully and I knew we had to cancel our date,mainly because of me..urgh I felt so bad about Y/N because she was very happy to go out and mad at myself for not being able to take her. I drove through the pouring rain and around 7:05pm I arrived home. I quickly went inside and saw that Y/N was in the living room couch, I went closer and noticed she was asleep, she was looking gorgeous with that dress on her, I felt so angry at myself for being a jerk.

I went near her and lifted he bridal style and went up to her room as I kept her on the bed but she woke up. "jimin?" she said rubbing her eyes, "hey beautiful" I said giving her sad smile, she looked at the clock on her bedroom wall and sighed "guess we'll have to cancel the date, anyways it's raining" she said looking at me. I took her hand and rubbed it slightly "I'm sorry, it's my fault..I'm the world's most worthless boyfriend" "hey, don't say that, mistakes happen" she said giving me a hug. "okay then I'll make dinner" I said and she nodded her head in agreement, I planted a kiss on her forehead and went to wash up and start to make dinner.

I decided to make chicken soup because it was raining and a little cold. It didn't take much long to make it and I wanted Y/N to be proud of having a boyfriend like me. I poured soup to two bowls and cut some slices of bread. "Y/N, I made dinner come and eat" I said out loud "I'm coming" I heard her say from upstairs. Seconds later she came downstairs, wearing a pajama trouser and a light pink tee, "sit down" I said pulling out a chair and bowing like a waiter. She laughed and shook her head and came and sat on the chair "thank you" she said bowing her head and giggling. I waited till Y/N took a sip first, I saw that she looked at me with disbelief "wow, did you actually make this?" "yep, why isn't it good?" I asked in curiosity "daebak, it's so delicious" she said drinking some more. I was happy because she was happy.
