Broken Hearts

If you haven't checked it out already go read 'The Start of Something New'. Also sorry about the delay last week I was having some problems getting it uploaded.

"Sam I-" He cut me off.

"Nevermind forget I said anything. It was stupid." He replied.

"No. Sam I love you too." My eyes lit up.

"You do?" He questioned.

I smiled and gave him a long kiss. I looked into his eyes.

"Yes. I do." I beamed.

We started walking towards Apocalypse.

"Sam?" I heard a girl nearby.

"Chloe?!?" He responded excitedly.

He ran towards her and pulled her into a tight hug. It kind of bugged me but I shrugged it off and walked towards the two of them.

"Who is this?" She asked.

"This is my friend Devyn!" He replied.

'Friend'?! He couldn't possibly be serious.

"I will meet you later. You guys go catch up." I smiled sarcastically. Already annoyed of her presence.

"Thanks! See you soon." He wrapped his arm around her.

I walked away confused. What am I supposed to think. I caught up with the rest of the group.

"Wheres Sam?" They all asked.

"With some girl named Chloe?"

"Oh." Was all they said turning away and not saying a word after that.

What am I supposed to do. My phone started to ring. I pulled it out of my pocket and looked at who it was. It was my Dad.

"Hey!" I answered.

"Hey you guys already at the park?"

"Yeah." I stated.

"Ok great well meet at Chipotle for dinner at 8?"

"Sounds good. See you then!" I hung up and locked my phone.

No one was talking to me and I wasn't sure why. I started to question and still nothing.

After the ride I sat down on a nearby bench. I doubt they even realized I was gone. I looked down at my phone. Only 4:32 what am I supposed to do. I feel like Im being excluded from the group.

"Jack?" I said looking up from my phone.

"Devyn!" He ran over to me and sat down.

"You ok?" He added.

"I don't know."

"What happened?"

"Well Sam left with some girl named Chloe and told her I was just a friend and then everybody asked where he went and so I told them and they haven't talked to me since then." I took a long breath.

"So yeah."

"Oh."

Great! The same answer as everybody else. Just what I needed.

"Do you know anything about her?"

"N-no." He stuttered.

"Yeah you do." I exclaimed.

"All I know is they used to go out. We all hated her but Sam thought she was special and she meant everything to him. He loved her. They only broke up because she moved to Alabama." He retorted.
