Sorry for such a short update I have had a lot going on! Enjoy!

{DEVYNS POV}

I gave him a huge smile. Maybe the picture was a mistake and I just didn't want to believe it. Part of me felt like he was lying and the other, I didn't know.

"Thanks."

We walked around the park and started a little conversation.

"Im sorry." I shut my eyes as a tear rolled down my cheek.

He grabbed my arms and put his finger under my chin and lifted my head.

"What are you sorry for? Its my fault. I screwed everything up and Im pretty sure I lost you."

His hands fell from my arms as he turned away. I walked in front of him and hugged him.

"You will never lose me." I stated.

He rested his head on mine and you could feel him grin.

"Pick a ride. The park is all ours!" He spread out his arms.

I picked out a few rides and wrapped my arm around his. It was fun and sweet and to go through all of this trouble just for one night. It was amazing. Maybe he did care and I was just to blind to see it until now.

We were about to walk past a log building that was attached to a stage. I climbed over the log gates that keep you out and ran straight to the stage. I was in the center when I let my arms free as I spun around. I hopped down and walked up and down the aisles touching the seats on the end. I walked to a seat in the middle and sat down. Sam followed. A tear fell and I tried to wipe it away before he saw.

"Whats wrong?" He stared into my eyes.

"Nothing. Just memories."

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah its just, you never know how valuable a memory or moment can be. This one was one of the many."

"Whats the memory?"

"Dance recitals mostly others when my mom would bring me here and we would watch plays. You know stuff like that."

He gave me a hug and let go to blind fold me and guided me in some direction.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Isn't that the whole point of blind folding. So its a surprise?"

"Yeah I guess."

He turned me in a circle so I wouldn't know where we were going. We started walking when I tripped over a rock.

"Don't worry I got you." He caught me.

I chuckled feeling embarrassed. We kept walking when I heard running water. I wasn't familiar with the area because I didn't think that the park had a stream of any kind or something like that. Now i was definitely confused.

"Ok." He said.

He slid the blind fold off and the first thing I see is us standing on a bridge that crosses over the stream. The perimeter is lit up with lots of lights that dangle from one tree to the other.

"Damn you really went all out!" I smile.

"Thats how much you mean to me." He was serious.

I still felt terribly guilty about the entire situation. I tried to avoid it but nothing really worked.

He walked me over the bridge and there was a small hill with a blanket laying on the grass. There was a picnic basket sitting next to it.

We walked over to the blanket and sat down. He opened the basket and pulled out 2 plates. One for me and one for him. He then pulled out some sandwiches and grapes. Whats better than an old fashioned lunch for dinner? He had some salad and a few other things. I grabbed a grape from my plate and ate it.

When we were done I started to clean up.

"Don't worry I got it." Sam stated.

"You did all of this the least I could do is help." I reply.

"I got it." He repeats.

I leave everything where it was and sit on the edge of the bridge. I set my hands on the rail and waited. When Sam finished he walked over and sat next to me.

"Thank you for an amazing night!" I look into his eyes.

"You're welcome!" He responded.

"I love you." He added.

He leaned in for a kiss and my hand moves from the rail as I lean closer. As I got closer I fell over the edge. I flipped around and hit my head on the bridge and then a big rock in the stream.

My mind went blank and I could no longer breathe.
