Hey! Thanks for reading!! Leave any suggestions you may have in the comments!

"Thanks!" I said nervously. He gave me a smile and held out his arm for me to latch onto. We walk down the sidewalk to his car as he opens the door for me. We didn't have much of a conversation on the way there. We pull up to a beautiful park with an arch in front of at least 150 chairs. To the left was an amazing 4 layered cake with white frosting. There were aqua colored flowers surrounding the area and about 7-10 peacocks wandering around. It was an amazing set up. Sam opened the door and grabbed my hand to help me out. He shut the door as I got out and swung his arm around my neck.

"Devyn, this is Jarrad! This is his sisters wedding." Sam said.

"Hi! Nice to meet you! This is amazing!!"

"I know. It was all her idea. So you two are a thing!?" Jarrad said looking at me.

"What?" I squinted. At that moment I realized Sams arm was still around me.

"Um no just friends." I responded taking Sams arm and putting it by his side. He just glanced at me.

"Are we gonna find a seat or just stand here? Lets go!" I stated.

I grabbed his arm dragging him along. We sat down near the front but off to the side a little. The ceremony begun. After the bride reached the front we sat back down. When the ceremony was over we immediately celebrated starting with dinner. Sam hadn't said a word to me since we got here. I was starting to get worried.

"Hey..you ok? You haven't talked much since we got here." I whispered.

"Yeah I'm fine just exhausted. Do you want to go out for ice cream or something after this?" He smiled.

"Sure!" I responded.

The reception was great and Sam started to talk more.

Sam stood up from the table. "May I have this dance?" He said with the cheesiest face he could give me. I nodded. We headed towards the dance floor I guess you could call it. The music started playing as Sam grabbed my hands and we spun around.

"Thanks for bringing me!" I smiled.

"No problem!" He replied.

I rested my head on his shoulder.

{SAMS POV}

She rested her head on my shoulder. I was a little surprised. I rested mine against hers. The song was coming to a close but I didn't want it to. Especially because it was the last dance. She lifted her head from my shoulder and stared into my eyes. I grinned at her and escorted her back to the table. We gathered our things and left.

We got to the ice cream shop that was just a block away from the park. We stepped out of the car into the cold air and then walked inside into the warm room. We ordered our ice cream and sat down to enjoy it.

"So did you have a great time?" I asked.

"The best! Your a great friend!" She responded.

'Right, friend.' I thought to myself and that was it. I didn't want to be friends. I wanted to be more than that. I doubt she ever felt the same about me anyways.

{DEVYNS POV}

We had just pulled into the neighborhood and up to my driveway. He walked me up to my porch and smiled at me.

"Thanks for a great time!" I said.

"Anytime!" He exclaimed.

I pulled him into a hug and walked inside. I was completely exhausted so I headed straight up to my room changing into some pajamas. I wiped my makeup off and brushed my teeth before jumping into my warm bed. After being on twitter for almost an hour I locked my phone and shut my eyes.
