I awaken (fancy oo) and notice its the middle of the day. I get up fast, and strap Trinity around my waist and I sling my quiver and bow on my back. I mount Mithren and I urge her to run.

We get far but she soon got tired fast, so I put her into a trot. It was getting dark so I hope I'm not late. I pass by many trees until I notice I'm a little lost, I turn Mithren right and urge her to go faster that way. I notice this was the right way so I continue on. I see the Shire, but it was dark out so now I'm hoping I wasn't really late. I ride pass homes until I see a mark on a door "guessing this is it" I mutter. I look around seeing ponies "dwarves are here already" I also mutter. I open the small gate and walk in closing it behind me. I walk to the door, and knock two times. I hear the speaking from inside stop, the door opens revealing a hobbit "Hello, I'm Aoibheann princess of Kortirion" he looks surprised "I'm Bilbo, nice to see you" he says bowing a little. I do the same and he invites me in, I bend down a little and walk in seeing dwarves around the table along with Gandalf "Ah, Aoibheann" the dwarves look at me and I can tell they despise me already. The one at the end of the table turns around who I'm guessing is Thorin. He glares at me and turns to Gandalf "A elf?" He looks at him then me "trust me, she is a strong warrior" I walk over to a chair in a corner and I sit down, they continue talking. "Bilbo my dear fellow, let us have a little more light" Bilbo leaves and gets a light then walks back over to the table, where he leans over looking at something, I'm guessing a map. I listen closely  "far to the East, over ranges and rivers, beyond woodlands and wastelands, lies a single solitary peak." So they really are going for the mountain, they might die. I see Bilbo lean over more "The Lonely Mountain" I move into the shadows more, I hear one of the dwarves speak up "Aye. Oin has read the portents, and the portents say it is time." Another dwarf speaks "Ravens have been seen flying back to the mountain as it was foretold: When the birds of yore return to Erebor, the reign of the beast will end" I look at Bilbo and he looked a wee bit worried "Uh, what beast?" I frown, Bilbo has been here most his life, why do they want him?  "Well that would be a reference to Smaug the Terrible, chiefest and greatest calamity of our age. Airborne fire-breather, teeth like razors, claws like meathooks, extremely fond of precious metals-" Bilbo cuts off the dwarf "Yes, I know what a dragon is" A dwarf stands up and I watch as he tries to act brave. "I'm not afraid! I'm up for it. I'll give him a taste of Dwarvish iron right up his jacksie" I roll my eyes and one of the dwarves pulls him down so he's sitting. The dwarves start shouting until one stops them. "The task will be difficult enough with an army behind us. But we number just thirteen" I cut him off by standing and speaking "fourteen, I'm coming like it or not, I will help reclaim your land" they look at me pondering it for a moment "if you cross us I will not hesitate to kill you" I hear Thorin. "Agreed" I sit back in my spot, listening once again. "And not fourteen of the best, nor brightest" I roll my eyes and the dwarves start yelling "what did he say?" I look at the dwarf who has a trumpet to his ear "We may be few in number, but we are fighters, all of us, to the last dwarf" I narrow my eyes. Another dwarf speaks up "and you forget, we have a wizard in our company. Gandalf will have killed hundreds of dragons in his time" I nod understanding. Gandalf speaks "oh, well, now, uh, I-I-I wouldn't say that, I-"  he gets cut off "how many then?" I lean forward "Uh, What?" "Well, how many dragons have you killed? Go On give us a number!" "Hm" they start bickering while I am looking at Gandalf who is coughing embarrassedly. (Underline is dwarvish) "Shazara if we have read these signs, do you not think others will have read them too? Rumours have begun to spread. The dragon Smaug has not been seen for 60 years. Eyes look east to the Mountain, assessing, wondering, weighing the risk. Perhaps the vast wealth of our people now lies unprotected. Do we sit back while others claim what is rightfully ours? Or do we seize this chance to take back Erebor? Du Bekâr! Du Bekâr!" (Translated: To arms! To arms!) I watch as the dwarves cheer. Why are they happy? Isn't the front door sealed? "You forget: the front gate is sealed. There is no way into the mountain" I smile knowing I'm right "That my dear Balin, is not entirely true." Oh so that's Balin. Who are the rest? I watch as Gandalf pulls out a key "How came you by this?" I lean forward now interested in how Gandalf got this key "It was given to me by your father, by Thrain, for safe keeping. It is yours now." I watch as Gandalf hands over the key to Thorin. "If there is a key, there must be a door" I roll my eyes, I see Gandalf point to the map "these runes speak of a hidden passage to the lower halls" I lean back into the chair once more "there's another way in!" Gandalf nods but looks serious again "well, if we can find it, but dwarf doors are invisible when closed. The answer lies hidden somewhere in this map and I do not have the skill to find it. But there are others in Middle-earth who can. The task I have in mind will require a great deal of stealth, and no small amount of courage. But, if we are careful and clever, I believe it can be done" I look at Bilbo, that's what they want him for. "That's why we need a burglar" I dwarf says "hm, a good one, too. An expert, I'd imagine" I rub my forehead, poor Bilbo. "And are you?" My head shoots up looking at the dwarf and Bilbo "am I what?" "He said he's an expert! Hey, hey!" The dwarves laugh and I groan internally. "M--me? No, no, no, no, no. I'm not a burglar; I've never stolen a thing in my life" I smile, that's good, I've never had a fancy for thieves. "I'm afraid I'll have to agree with Mr. Baggins. He's hardly burglar material" Bilbo only nods "Aye, the wild is no place for gentlefolk who can neither fight nor fend for themselves" Bilbo nods and the dwarves start arguing again. I stand up (not fully) and move to a different seat in the light. "Enough! If I say Bilbo Baggins is a burglar, then a burglar he is" you can't make someone be something they aren't. I put my head down in defeat. I look back up at Gandalf "Hobbits are remarkably light on their feet, in fact, they can pass unseen by most if they choose" I soon daze off in the middle of his sentence. Its like I couldn't focus, I look over the dwarves one by one, soon a deep voice cuts me out of my thinking "very well, we will do it your way" I look over at Bilbo "No, no, no" Thorin doesn't listen "give him the contract" "please" Bilbo tries to say "alright we're off" Balin stands up and walks over giving the hobbit a contract. "Its just the usual summary of out-of-pocket expenses, time required, remuneration, funeral arrangements, so forth" Balin walks over giving me the same thing. I open it and sign as Bilbo talks  "funeral arrangements?" He asks. I give Balin back the contract and he gives me a small smile before he sits back down. I'm guessing I zoned off again because I heard Bilbo "inceration?" I chuckle "oh, aye, he'll melt the flesh off your bones in the blink of an eye" I look at Bilbo and notice that he looks a bit breathless "huh" I hear him say "you alright laddie?" I hear Balin. I lean forward just in case he falls. He bends over nauseous and pained "Uh, yeah.....feel a bit faint" I lean forward a bit more "Think furnace with wings" you're not helping "air, I--I--I need air" I sigh "flash of light, searing pain, then Poof! You're nothing more then a pile of ash" the dwarves look at Bilbo as do I "Hmmm. Nope" he goes to fall but I lunge forward and grab him "Ah, very helpful, Bofur" Gandalf walks over and guides me to a chair "right there my lady" I nod and set him down.

He soon wakes up a mug in hand as I sit down on a chair. "I'll be alright, let me just sit quietly for a moment" I roll my eyes and leave the room. I sit somewhere, somewhere that I could hear everyone talking. Soon enough I hear Balin "it appears we have lost out burglar" I look over at Bilbo seeing him walk off. I sigh that's possibly for the best, he could die. I listen to conversations again, some talking about me and if its smart to bring an elf along this journey, most conversations are on Bilbo now, and how he's not coming. Maybe Bilbo made the right decision.

We all are currently standing around in Bilbo's living room, that's when I heard the dwarves humming. I listen closely as Thorin starts

"Far over, the Misty Mountains cold

To Dungeons deep, and caverns old

We must away, ere break of day

To find our long-forgotten gold

The pines were roaring, on the height

The winds were moaning, in the night

The fire was red, it flaming spread

The trees like torches blazed with light"

They stop and I look down, I look over seeing Bilbo. He is leaning against the wall listening. I smile to myself and all the dwarves leave off to random rooms to sleep. I do the same.
