No One But You

Alec's POV
How could I be so stupid. Trusting Camille was the biggest regret I've ever made and now I have no one. Izzy left New York and Jace is just too busy to return to the Institute so I was alone. What was the point of Magnus telling me not to trust his psycho ex when he trusted her. "Alec?" Maryse asked noticing me walk by the kitchen. "Mom, what are you doing here?" I asked, surprised.
"I wanted to surprise you"
"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow morning"
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine"
"Alec-"
"I don't want to receive a 'I told you so' lecture, okay?! Magnus and I broke up, are you happy now?!"
Before Maryse could say anything else, I stormed off to my bedroom.

Three years later

Catarina's POV
"Magnus!" I yelled. "WHAT!" Magnus yelled randomly throwing clothes around.
"What exactly are you doing?"
"I have NOTHING to wear!"
I rolled my eyes before an explosion went off making us jump. "What was that?" Magnus asked, raising his eyebrows. "You tell me!" I screamed. "Catarina?" Jace asked, appearing out of nowhere. I blinked making sure I wasn't losing my mind.
"Didn't you die 5 weeks ago?"
"Immortality"
"Oh"
Wait, what? "So is Clary-" I asked. "She's still alive," Jace hissed.
"Oh"
"Jace!" Clary yelled running up to him. "What?! Ow!" Jace exclaimed, grasping his arm.
"You okay?"
"I don't know, you tell me!"

Meanwhile...

Maryse's POV
"ALEC!" I screamed looking at my son who was bleeding badly due to the explosion but somehow he was okay. "Mom!" Alec yelped, jumping to his feet.
"You're literally bleeding badly and you're okay?"
"Magnus might have casted a protection spell when we were dating. I guess it finally have its effect"
I rolled my eyes as Alec grabbed on his arm like in pain. "Mom, I'm pretty sure I'm immortal," Alec gasped. "Is Jace okay?" I asked.
"We don't have the parabatai rune anymore"
"Right, forgot about that"
"Alec! Mom!" Izzy yelled running to us. "Yes?" We both asked at the same time.
"I found Jace and Clary, come on!"

Alec's POV
"Izzy!" Clary yelled hugging her best friend since Simon died one year ago. I stared at Jace who just shrugged and ran into my arms. I wasn't ready to see Magnus standing with Catarina behind him. "Alec, I'm very glad you're safe," Jace mumbled. I laughed. "Why thank you Jacey," I teased.
"You're never going to stop, are you?"
"Let me think about it, nope!"
"Do you know the prisoner taken by the vampires finally escaped?"
I froze, remembering when it was my job to release the prisoner but never succeeded because of a certain demonic death eater vampire. I closed my eyes remembering the first night I tried to rescue.

"His name is Jacob and you need to save him from the vampires. Do you understand?" Maryse asked. I nodded and followed my duties.

Time skip

I was literally so close to the prisoner before being stopped by Camille. "Well, well, if it isn't Alexander Lightwood in vampire territory. You're here for Jacob, I assume?" She hissed. "Yes so please allow me to save him," I answered calmly.
"Not so fast. I have some questions for you"
"Ask away. I'm not scared of you"
"How's your love life?"
"Fine"
"Are you happy?"
"Yes"
"Would you become immortal if given the chance?"
"Probably"
"Do you want to take away Magnus's immortality?"
"No, never"

I sighed opening my eyes to see Jace concerned. "Yes?" I asked. "You zoned out," Jace answered.
"Uh-"
"Alexander, can I talk to you for a minute?" Magnus asked. "Um, why?" I asked.
"Just say yes"
I sighed following my ex.

Magnus's POV
"I'm so sorry I didn't let you explain," I spoke. "Wait, you-" Alec started.
"I saw everything"
"How-"
"You connected your vision with me"
"Magnus! Let me say something!"
"Sorry"
"You're fine. Anyway, it doesn't change anything"
"I want no one but you. Marry me, Alexander?"
"Y-yes. But you have to promise you won't leave me again"
"I promise"
"I love you"
