A/N: Alec is Christopher Evans with blonde hair as a runaway. Magnus is the leader of the city Alec comes across to.

Christopher Evans laid in his apartment bored as he wanted to be out in the city but couldn't risk people recognizing him as the man he used to be. He sighed before Angelina Peters knocked on the door. "Come in!" Christopher spoke. "If I may ask, why do you rarely leave the actual building?" Angelina asked.
"I told you it's complicated"
"I know but-"
"I'm a runaway, you know this"
Angelina nodded as she left the room. "Please go out today," Angelina spoke. "Fine," Christopher replied, sighing as he grabbed his cape putting it on and walked out.

"How may I help you, sir?" Nina Darkins asked. "I need to see Eric D'Matthews," Christopher explained. "Eric is dangerous, just so you know," a male voice spoke from behind causing Christopher to turn around. Christopher looked down as he realized who it was. Magnus. "Are you okay?" Magnus asked, concerned. "I'm fine, sir," Christopher answered.
"Please call me Magnus. I'm the leader of this city. If you don't mind me asking, what name should I call you?"
"Christopher. Christopher Evans"
Magnus looked at Christopher in disbelief but Christopher didn't think much about it. "Well, Christopher, allow me to show you around," Magnus spoke, giving a gentle smile. "I don't want to burden you," Christopher replied.
"No, no you're fine. There's just a celebration tonight and I really want you there. If you don't mind being super early"
"Thank you for the offer but no thanks"
"I insist"
Christopher grumbled before nodding. "Fine," Christopher agreed. As always, Christopher thought. Magnus smiled gently before offering his hand to Christopher's who faltered at first but then took it.

Christopher's POV
"If you don't mind me asking, where are we going?" I asked. "To my chambers, Christopher," Magnus spoke.
"Why do you keep stretching my name like that?"
Magnus stopped and turned to look at me. "Your blonde hair doesn't help you hide your real identity," Magnus answered. "What?" I asked.
"Nothing, darling"
"Um, if you say so"
Magnus smirked before taking my hand and walked into his chambers having the door slam behind us.

Magnus's POV
"Sit, Christopher," I demanded. "Magnus, don't stretch my name like that anymore," Christopher replied.
"Sure. I'll just call you by your real name then"
"Christopher is my real name!"
"Christopher Evans died 200 years ago"
Christopher frowned. "There's more than one Christopher Evans," Christopher argued. "Probably. No Christopher Evans lives in America though. Nice try, Alexander," I spoke.
"How-"
"I told you. Your blonde hair doesn't help you hide your real identity. Now tell me, why are you here and why have you changed your name?"
"I didn't know where I would end up. I'm a runaway"
"You ran away? Why?"
Alec sighed before glancing towards the open window. "I don't want to talk about it," Alec whispered. I looked at him sadly. "You don't have to," I reassured him.
