Soulmates Get Back Together

Alec's POV
I sighed looking at my phone in my hand waiting for a certain text from my ex husband, Henry Mills and I was damaged because of it. In order for a relationship to work now, you had to be with your soulmate for the rest of your lives and I'll never have the opportunity to do just that. People say soulmates are bounded to get back together eventually but I don't believe that especially since I betrayed Magnus.  The phone beeped making me jump and return to reality.

Not who I was expecting but hi

Are you possibly free tonight??

To: Cat

Not sure, why??

I'm having an open house and I really want you to be there

To: Cat

What time? I'll try to make it

Anytime from 5-11

I'll probably be there

Great! I'll see you then!

I sighed glancing at the door for absolute no reason. "Alec!" Izzy screamed opening the door to the grand bedroom. "Yes?" I asked.
"You're going to Cat's open house tonight?"
"Most likely"
"You should go for the entire time"
"As much as I would like to, I have work"
"I'll do the work for you!"
I blinked and sighed. "Fine," I spoke. "Wear a suit, Alec!" Izzy exclaimed as I walked out stopping to roll my eyes.

Catarina's POV
"He's coming," I spoke. Magnus just stared at me before nodding. "You actually got him to come?" Magnus asked.
"Yeah, hopefully he'll come for the entire thing"
"Has Izzy texted you yet?"
"Nope"
Magnus just laughed before going in the dressing room and finished getting ready. My phone beeped as he done that.

Alec's POV
I sighed as I walked up the steps of Cat's door and finally realized I was the first one here. The decorations were beautiful, I have to admit. There were candles on the path which was covered with red silk, the door was covered in hearts and stars, and of course the windows were dazzled with shooting stars that actually moved. I rung the doorbell and waited patiently. "Coming!" A female voice exclaimed finally opening the door. "What are you wearing?" I asked.
"Who are you?"
"Alec. Alec Lightwood"
"Sage"
"Sage!" Catarina yelled running to the front door. "I've better get going. Nice meeting you, Alec," Sage spoke making me nod as she walked out the door. "Sorry about her, come in," Cat said. "Where is everyone?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, no one else is coming and I'll be leaving soon"
"Why am I here then?"
"Does it matter? Stay. You'll be alone with another person"
I just glared at her before walking to the kitchen. I gasped at the scene in front of me. Almost everything was covered with flowers and the countertops had so much food, I couldn't tell you what meals they were. "Just relax. He'll be here soon," Cat spoke making me jump. "Who will be here?" I asked suspiciously.
"He's in the grand bedroom if you really want to know or you can wait and be surprised"
I just stared at her before I realized I was alone.

Magnus's POV
"He's here," Cat spoke grabbing her jacket and walked out the front door. I sighed before glancing in the mirror just in case I needed final touches. My heart was beating very fast indicating I was nervous. What if Alec didn't want to get back together? What if something went wrong? I shook my head before leaving the bedroom and walked down to the kitchen. I smiled at Alec who was playing on his phone not noticing me. "Alexander," I spoke making him jump until his eyes found mine. "Magnus," Alec whispered but sounded more like a question.
"Are you hungry, sweetie?"
Instead of Alec saying his answer, his stomach did it for him. "I'll take that as a yes," I chuckled. Alec just stared at me before getting up and grabbed his food. "What's exactly going on here?" Alec asked sitting back down as I sat right next to him.
"Is it not obvious? I want you to be mine"
"I don't understand"
"Understand this"
I moved myself closer and leaned in kissing him on the lips as my arms wrapped around his torso. Alec was frozen for a minute before kissing back and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer. "Aku cinta kamu," Alec whispered making me smile. "Aku cinta kamu forever," I whispered back before regretfully pulling away.
"I want you in my life forever"
"So do I"
I smirked before kissing Alec again and soon enough it became heated. I snapped my fingers and we were in the grand bedroom kissing all over.
