Cassidy (HS AU)

Alec's POV
I sighed as I ran right into my locker. Everyone was staring at me as if they were trying to hide their laughter. Ever since Magnus broke up with me and got a new girlfriend, I was treated horribly by his friends but he had no idea. Thank goodness he wasn't treating me the same way. "Hi loser," a female voice whispered in my ear making me turn around to face Cassidy Rogers, (picture above), Magnus's girlfriend. She smirked grabbing me by the shirt. "What do you want?" I asked.
"Does it matter fag?"
I gasped when she used fag as an insult. "I overheard Magnus saying he'd beat you up badly later today," Cassidy laughed before punching me hard making me fall to the floor as she let go. "You're lying!" I yelled.
"Am I?"
"Magnus would never do that to an ex no matter the reason of the breakup"
"He's different now thanks to me. He needed to know that you should teach a lesson to all of your exes. He'll do it when you least expect it"
"He would never!"
"We'll see about that"
Cassidy laughed as the bell rang making me late only because I wasn't popular anymore. I sighed as I ran to my creative writing class.

Magnus's POV
I laughed to myself as I wrote an embarrassing story about Alec laying it on his desk quickly before he walked inside. "Alec, you're late," the teacher spoke. "Sorry. I ran into trouble," Alec answered heading to his seat. He sighed laying his head down on the desk before grabbing the notecard and read it silently to himself. I smiled as I could tell his eyes were watery. If it wasn't for Cassidy, I wouldn't know I had to do this. She threatened to kill me if I wouldn't beat Alexander up badly. You may be wondering why I would stay with a girl like that and not break up. It's because I'm trying to move on from Alec and I would do anything to do it even if it meant bullying him. Besides, I was forced to stay with her until the end of my senior year so I would break up with her then. "Can I be excused?" Alec asks making me smirk mentally. It would be the perfect time to beat him up. "You may," the teacher answered causing Alec to walk quickly out of the room and I followed of course. Because I was popular, I didn't need to ask to be excused. When Alec was close to an empty classroom, I grabbed him by the shirt pulling him inside and locked the door behind me as well as making it dark.

Alec's POV
I was walking when suddenly someone grabbed me by the shirt pulling me inside an empty classroom locking the door behind them and making it dark. I screamed as I got away from the persons grip falling backwards on the floor. The voice laughed as the footsteps came closer causing me to see him up close. "You look scared Alexander," Magnus smirked standing in front of my face. "Don't listen to Cassidy. She's wrong about everything," I spoke.
"Ah so she told you. Let me guess, you didn't believe her because you still love me? Pathetic"
"Don't do this"
"I can and I will"
"Please"
"No"
Magnus laughed as he started hitting me. Every punch, kick, slap, stomp, and throw had hurt making me scream only encouraging Magnus to continue. To end the beating, I was kicked in the face three times as well as five punches. "I'm not done with you yet if you believed that was the end," Magnus whispered forcing me on my knees as he made a whip appear and started slashing my back. I fell unconscious on the floor.

3 months later

Magnus's POV
"Leave!" I hissed at Cassidy. After finding out the fact that I was under a spell and somehow ward off me, I broke up with my psycho girlfriend and apologized to everyone I could expect Alec since he hadn't been at school since what I did to him. If I had known about the spell earlier, I would've probably controlled it. But of course I allowed it to control me as always.

Alec's POV
I grumbled opening the door revealing Magnus. "If you're here to hurt me, you can go," I snapped. "I'm actually here to apologize. Turned out I was under a spell when it happened but of course couldn't control it," Magnus spoke calmly.
"Magnus-"
"I'm telling the truth"
"I believe you but I don't know if I can forgive you"
"Take your time, Alec"

Magnus's POV
Since the spell warded off, I have changed back to good and hopefully will never witness the act of cruelty ever again.
