Deception **ON HOLD**

chapter six (EDITED)

(sarah's pov first this first one is her pov from last chapter.)

I head into the bathroom after my last nightmare so I can calm down completely. I lock the door and look around since I had never been in this one.Finally I found what I was looking for and started to take it apart. Once it's completely broke I have five blades lying in the floor in front of me.

As I look at them I find the biggest one of them all.  I slide the blade across my skin.  When the pain starts I sigh in relief and then the blood comes and I relish the sight of it. "Finally." I murmur. I let my eyes close and my body slump to the floor as the door opens and Mason walks in.

****Mason's pov****

We wait four hours to see her. They said that they needed to run tests as procedure and that she was too weak for visitors for now.Finally the doctor comes out to us. We all stand as he talks, "we have found the sources of her continuous nightmares and what finally drove her to cut her wrists."
 

We all nod at him to continue and he does, "we have removed the tumor which was why you had to wait so long. Now would you like to see her?" he asks.
  We rush into her room and see her lying in the bed and she smiles weakly. We all sigh in relief and Bethany hugs the hell out of her.

**** Sarah's pov****

I look up as people rush in and when I realize it was my friends I smile weakly before Beth decides to hug the hell out of me. "Don't you fucking do that to me." she says and I laugh weakly. She slaps my arm before moving away. Bryce hugs me and then joins Beth and I see him slip his arm around her and her lean into him tired.
 

Mason hugs me and it lasts longer than the others but when he pulls back I see the tiredness in his eyes along with redness from what looked like he was crying. I see Beth look over at me, " Sarah I know you don't want them to know but it's time." she tells me using my first name as double pressure. Bryce looks shocked at my first name and I sigh.
 

" Josh was my ex. He was crazy but I was in love and looked past it. He used to beat me when I didn't do something or do it right or even for no reason. I was always abused but he made the bruises and cuts to where I could hide them. I never let him try to seduce me though. One day I stayed the night with him since Beth and I weren't on good terms and I woke the next morning with my wrists tied to the bed. If it weren't for Beth freaking out because Matt had called her saying I never came home I would have been raped." I tell them not looking up.
 

"Also my name is Sarah but I like being called Lynn. When my mother died my father called me Sarah the murderer and that's why I hate my name." I tell them. I finally look up to see Beth her calm self but Bryce and Mason had worry and concern in their eyes.
 

"I was called ugly and a freak and many other not so nice names and that's why i'm the bad girl of our school. Those names changed me to where I take no bullshit and beat others up for bullying."I tell them.
 

Mason comes over since he was closer as Bryce stands there shocked and he hugs me saying he is sorry over and over. Finally I get tired of it and push him away while saying in a monotone voice, " drop the fucking sympathy or get the hell out."  He shuts up while Beth starts talking," they are going to release you as long as you take it easy. So our plan is to take a road trip!"
  I nod," okay I agree to it." I say. They all get excited and start making plans as I fall asleep.

***** the next morning*****

I wake up to Beth trumping around the room. "Finally you're up!" she exclaims. I yawn before sitting up and stretching. "You know me and my sleep bitch." I tell her and she gives me an eye roll. "Anyways we have a MAJOR problem." she says.
 

"What's wrong?" I ask concerned. She huffs but finally sits in the chair beside my bed. She sits there for five minutes before getting up and pacing the room again. "Soooo I think I might like Bryce and Hales might like Luke...." she finally says. She looks at me probably wondering if i'll blow up or keep calm.
 

"I'm so sorry and so is Hales. We never meant for this to happen."she says over and over and apologizes over and over again for breaking our promise until I laugh. "It is fine. I called the promise off when we started hanging around them. Figured something like this would happen." I say punching her arm playfully.

 I finally get discharged after what seemed like lecture after lecture of being careful and very safe and me promising. We get in the car and I drive to Mason's or well I'm guessing everyone's since everyone moved in together. We enter and everyone immediately starts treating me like a baby doing everything for me.
 

"If you do not get the hell away from me and stop doing everything besides Mason with my medicine I'll find something horrible and embarrassing to do to all of you." I say in a dangerous voice. They all immediately back off and continues doing whatever they were doing earlier. I head into my bedroom and take the duffle bag from when I moved here and put comfortable and then some stylish clothes in it before putting my toiletries in the bag. After I finish packing I decide to take a little nap before we leave. Halfway asleep Mason joins me holding me close before falling asleep I feel a kiss on my cheek.
