Why did I ever hate Alex? He's such a sweetheart! He treats me so well and he's always telling me how stunning I am. He's literally the best person ever to exist in this world.
"Mitchie?" He calls from the living room.
I take the stairs two at a time, skipping down them. "Yes, Allie?"
He holds out his arms. "Come here, baby." I skip over to him and throw myself onto his lap, letting his arms wrap around my waist as I straddle him. "You are so beautiful. You know that, right?"
I smile. "You tell me everyday." I say, looking right into his eyes.
"It's because it's 100% true. You are the most gorgeous man on the planet." He kisses the tip of my nose and I can feel the blush rising on my cheeks.
"Thank you." I whisper and he cups one of my cheeks in his hands. His fingers are long enough to reach behind my neck. He pulls me down and connects our lips.
Every time he kisses me, I'm transported to this alternative universe. A universe where only he and I exist. A universe with no hate, no poverty, no greed or hunger. But most importantly...
A universe with no Scott Hoying.
A/N: Woops another short chapter. More insight to how Alex controls the mind of his victims? ^
