I knock on the door of the house that the address led us to and pray that Ms. Kirk didn't lie to us. The house is the complete opposite of Ms. Kirk's. It's gigantic and in a very urban area. It's almost mansion-like, though it's only two stories. It just looks so grand.

I hear a high pitched voice speak from inside. "Daddy, someone is at the door."

"I'll get it, sweetheart, don't you worry your pretty little head." A man's voice speaks from inside. A small smooch, most likely shared between the two, can be heard a few moments before the door unlocks and opens. "Hello." He says.

"Hi. Mr. Kirk?" He nods, straightening up a bit. "I'm Mitch, this is Avi and Kevin. We're here to speak with you about an urgent topic." I smile politely. Time to tell a father about their horrible son and find out why he's so horrible.

"Well come inside and we'll talk over some tea?" He asks and I nod. I notice how toned he is for a person that's possibly over 1000 years old. I don't know how he still deals with people, let alone children.

"Daddy? Who's at the door?" The same voice speaks from before and a girl that looks adultish but is dressed like a child peeks around the corner.

"Some nice people, Sydney. You can go upstairs while the grownups are talking, okay?" She nods her head with a big smile and turns to skip up the stairs. "Sydney." He says with a warning tone and her entire body tenses as she freezes in her place. "You know better than that."

She turns around with fear evident on her face and tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Daddy, it won't happen again I promise."

"It's okay, Honey. As long as you know what you did wrong."

She nods her head. "Yes, Daddy, I do." And with that she turns and walks up the stairs.

Avi speaks up as we walk into the large home. "You have a beautiful daughter."

"That's not his daughter." I interject before Mr. Kirk even has a chance to speak. "She's a Little. She's 25 but when she's in Little space, she's like 11. She's also human."

Mr. Kirk looks awfully surprised (as well as Avi but anyways...) as he stares at me in shock. "So we're dealing with a Grassi here. Yes, she's my Little and yes, she is human. No, she doesn't know that I'm a vampire and I would like to keep it that way. My birthday is in a few days and I would like to keep her happy because she loves celebrating it. Now what are you here for?"

"It's about your son. Alex." He almost cringes at the name. "I'm just gonna cut to the chase and say this. He's dead now, like actually dead, and he has possessed the love of my life so now we're trying to appease his soul. His mother told us that you could be the reason why he's so angry. I'd like my boyfriend back, please."

"Robert, can you make us some Chamomile tea please?" He asks quietly while looking at the floor. I guess Robert is a vampire as well for him to speak that softly to someone that isn't in sight. He looks up at us with a softer expression than before. "How did he die?"

"I killed him." In the blink of an eye, I'm pinned against the wall by my throat as Mr. Kirk's cold red eyes bore into my soul.

"I should kill you!" He scream-whispers most likely so he won't frighten his Little.

"Mr. Kirk, Alex sent an entire army to kill Mitch. He just so happened to have lost the battle." Kevin speaks up with a slightly anxious tone.

Mr. Kirk's grip on my neck slightly falters as he continues to stare into my eyes. "Why did he want to kill you?"

"Because he's been in love with me since the day that he raped me and changed me, then found out that I was special and got jealous of me a few days later." I answer blandly.

"My son raped you?" He asks sadly as he lowers me to the ground. I nod at him once my feet touch the floor. "I'm so sorry. I'll tell you everything and you can tell me what we need to do."

"Okay. Can we sit?" I motion towards the couch and he places a comforting hand on my upper back and he leads me towards it. Once we get comfortable, Robert brings us our tea and I clear my throat before taking a sip. "Alright, so go ahead, talk to us."

"Once I found out that Alex was gay, I hated him. I was in the mindset of 'no father wants a gay son' and I treated him like shit because of it. I feel terrible now but before I thought that it was perfectly reasonable. I just wish I could apologize to him... tell him I love him you know? He's so important to me. More important than any of his siblings or anyone else on this planet. When I found Sydney, I asked her to be my Little because I missed having my favorite child around and she has the same personality as him."

"Well now you can apologize." I hold up the recording device that was hidden in my back pocket.

"You're gonna show him that?" He asks with hope on his expression.

I nod my head. "Yes sir, and we're going to pray that it works."

A tear suddenly falls down his cheek. He stands up and pulls me into a hug. A warm fatherly hug that I wish I could have had.

"Mitch?" He starts as we pull apart from the hug. "Make sure you find out about yourself. You Grassis are so special."

"What do you mean sir?" I ask. That's not the first time I've been told I'm special. I already know that I'm powerful, I've been ranked number two in the country for Christ's sake. I just don't understand.

"You'll find out. Soon." I hate that word.

"Okay." I answer simply. "Thank you for your time. And the tea." We walk out the front door and make our way down the driveway before turning around for one final look at the man.

"Go get your boy." He simply replies as he shuts the door.
