Author note: Right now, I am not giving this much time, as I have other things on the go, so the updates are going to be a bit sparse. I am going to be giving them to you as they are written, for now. I am still working on the certification, and have only about a month to get it, and it is one that is fairly difficult!
I am hoping you enjoy this update! Also, what do you think of the cover?
Tala tossed her graduation paperwork onto the table before flopping back on the couch in the Alpha's sitting room. "Finally!" She told Adam and Brook. "I am finished with being in school!"
Tommy laughed as he came in with smiles, nodding a greeting to the Alphas, that had become almost second parents to him. "I can't agree more." He said, flopping down beside his mate and giving her a kiss. He and his mother had joined the pack right after they had come out, to try to relieve an untreatable accident that had left him paralyzed from the neck down.
Tala had given him the bite when he was about eleven, which turned him, and gave him back the full function of his limbs. He then had worked hard with her and other pups, to get his strength back, then up to what the pups had. It had been fun chasing Tala around, and playing with her.
Adam grinned, "Now that you have graduated the Academy; the hard part starts." Brook just snickered at their alarmed looks.
The rest of their team came in to join them, before they headed off to the graduation party outside. Most students were heading back in the morning, for their own packs and prides, since it was the start of the summer break.
Riley and Logan had been offered a place on the Beta track, as part of the payment for their father, the Pack's Second Zane, being one of the trainers on the half staff. He might still be only just under half a century old, but could beat the other staff trainer who was just into his third century. The two of them had most students shuddered if they were their instructors, as they both were very strict.
Katya, Zane's mate had happily taken over more of the traditional duties of the Seconds in exchange, knowing that they wouldn't be too long before the Academy left, and Zane would be staying here.
Izzy, Riley and Logan's mother was off with her mate, Karl, and Beth, their Mind-Healer, checking on a few of the packs and Prides that they were allied with, and the three sub-packs that looked to them. While it was very rare to have pups outside of a mate, it was more common with a human, like Izzy had been at that point. They were considered to be the 'Will of the Goddess' and were treated well, like all pups.
After giving birth, Izzy had decided to join the pack, and when she found her mate, to be turned. Riley and Logan had been dismayed, as both their parents had found their mates at the same time, although Zane had known his mate for years, his wolf had kept the fact hidden, since he needed to heal mentally from being a rogue-turned as a teen.
Hesta and Carla were the team's Thetas. Their duties covered washing the clothes, taking care of the rooms the team used, and as needed, arranging meals, or making sure the team ate regularly. The team in response helped protect and care for them. Thetas generally didn't fight, but like any wolf, would fight if cornered.
Louise and Graham were the last two members of their team. They were both Deltas, but Tala had told Tommy that they could go low Beta, if they worked hard. Both were fairly skilled with weapons. Louise much preferred to work with the technology and mechanical, while Graham preferred to look at a physical book, or discuss history with one of the Elders. Both had started to hang around Tala and Tommy as they started to be involved more with the other pups, when Tommy was recovered.
