Tommy and Tala smiled as they had watched the two till Logan ran off. They were going to see him off but could see how Rachel was attracted to him from the way she acted around him and had stayed back.

Tala moved to sit down beside Rachel, as she watched the spot where he disappeared into to the forest. "He needed to get back to his patrol, as they were basically only half way through it. He's going to be back in two or three days, probably." She stated.

"Oh, darn, I wanted to talk to him. I know he was there at the park but he is nice and really helped us." When he had picked her up she had felt comfortable and protected. His arms were strong and he smelled good as well. She hadn't noticed any tingles or warmth since she had been in pain from her ankle. It could also be she was a little young for it.

"I wish I could be here when he comes back to thank him." She blushed slightly though she didn't realize it, "How well do you know him? Can I send him some thanks?" Rachel had the small wolf he had given her in her arms. Her eyes were fixed on the place he had vanished into the forest.

Tala laughed, "He—and his sister—are my team's Seconds. That means that since we are adults, we generally work and live together almost like an extended family." She was pulling on her memory of things her father had told her, of how they could say it for humans. "Right now, he is filling in for another senior member that had to head off to help another pack." Seeing the disappointment, she offered, "If you want to leave a note with me, I will see that he gets it. I don't know if your family was wanting to stick around for several days. Talk to your parents and see what they say."

What the other was saying confused Rachel. Even after the supernatural came out she hadn't paid a great deal of attention. There had been some interest but she hadn't expected to ever meet any so she had lost interest and continued with her life. Being that she had been five or six had something to do with it as well. As she had grown it had simply become part of her world. Having the reality of Weres forced down her throat had shocked her even as she had almost gaped at his body when he had changed. His wolf was wonderful but his body? Oh man he had been hot.

"Don't know what my family will do. I know my foot still hurts but I can recover at home." She didn't want to, but chances were good they would be leaving today or tomorrow. Not seeing Logan again made her heart skip a beat.

Tommy smiled, "We never said you couldn't come back." He said as he moved to lean against the outside railing near them.

"Thanks. It would be nice to come back." Rachel finally stood and crutched back into the house.

Even as they were talking Logan was running his tail off. He knew what the tingles meant but damn it, he wasn't ready for this. Their father had been in his thirty's when he realized Kat was his mate. Izzy had been about Zane's age when she met her mate as well. He knew others who were senior and had taken much longer to find their mates but they were old. Logan wasn't sure what to think at the moment. He finally slowed down when his sister contacted him.

*Logan are you okay? I felt something not long ago and there was a surge of something from you.* Her tone was concerned even though she knew he had been at the house.

*I'm fine sis. Heading back to my team and talk to you later.* He was moving at a rate human's couldn't imagine as he was moving. His claws were catching in the loam as he was moving and he kept speeding up as he was moving.

Logan didn't realize how fast he was running and sooner than he realized he broke into the area his team were at. They were talking to a number of the campers and trading ideas on how better to camp and be safe, *Hey, everything okay? Everyone ready for roughing it?*
