Once Zane had left Liza with Anita, he called for his uncle and another enforcer. He was going to go down and talk with Mik. He'd heard the story of how he'd been captured and almost died laughing. He had to wonder if the woman had some wolf in her to take him out as she had.

Mike showed up with Malcom, "Going to talk to the rogue?" He gave Kat a light hug before giving Zane one. He knew why they were there and it was a good call on Zane's behalf.

"Not really sure if it is going to be a talk but I do want to speak to him. I really don't understand why he did what he did. It simply isn't something I can comprehend." Pack took care of pack. Using women against their will wasn't taking care of pack.

Mike had to shrug, "Some things you simply won't understand. I've come to agree Mik isn't a true rogue but he was acting as a rogue so he needs to be treated as such. His reasoning for what he did is likely to be something we can't understand very well. I've talked to others and have come to the conclusion there is just something broken inside. Even being wolves doesn't mean we won't have some with mental issues. All the healing does is ensure we will be healed to where we started. It isn't going to fix issues such as mental disease. It isn't going to make us all perfect either. We still have introverts, extroverts, the shy ones, the loose ones, and other personalities humans have." Saying a wolf was loose was saying something but even they had what were considered sluts.

"I know but if he'd been raised somewhat differently he would have been a good wolf. He was a good lower Beta or upper Delta. If it wasn't for his views on she-wolves, I wouldn't have had a problem with him." The rest of the walk to the cells was silent as each was thinking.

When they finally arrived at the cell Mik was in, Zane looked at him through the thick impact resistant window. It was four inches thick bullet proof material. A wolf could eventually escape but it would take a long time. Being that he was chained to the wall kept that from happening, "Morning Mik. I'd ask how you are doing but that is rather pointless and we both know it. Before any sentence is passed it has been asked if you would tell us if there are any others you've impacted. I'll be honest, it won't change the sentence, or highly doubtful but it would provide closure for families if you have."

Mik looked at the window and stared at Zane, "That would be rather pointless since I'll be dead sooner than later. As far as my hurting or killing anyone else, I didn't. Everything I did to get to you was done here. I know you came from this pack and know there was history here with some people. The car was purchased but the name never changed. All my finances and property has been sold and placed in an account. I do have a will and it is in the safe of my former Alpha. Beyond that I have nothing to say to you."

"Thank you for that Mik. When next I sing to the Moon, I'll let her know you willingly gave us the information. I said this before and I did mean it. Other than your views on she-wolves and human females, you were a good senior wolf. You would have been a credit to your pack if you'd changed your ways. As it is I don't think you can be classified as a true rogue but you acted as one, so we have to treat you that way. Good bye." He turned and walked away.

"I never believed it when you said that. Your expression gave lie to what you were saying. Every time you talked to me I could tell you were looking down on me. Why should I believe it when you were always judging me with that cold expression of yours?" Mik didn't know it was his normal expression or why it was, nor had he cared to find out.

Liza took a breath and brought her mind back to what she was wanting to know from the Elder. "What is the process, now that the rogue has been caught?"
