Part 2... Questions

After waking up early from a bad dream, never had a chance to sleep again so instead, I went out for a jog at the nearest park in my place. After which, I did my usual morning rituals, ate a good breakfast and went straight to work after.

(knock, knock)

I stopped typing from my computer upon hearing the knocks at the door of my office.

Ms. De Leon, sorry for disturbing you, Mr. Robinson wants to see you in his office right now. Ms. Patty said.

What is it about? I answered back all confuse.

He didn't say anything. She plainly answered..

So I stood up, fixed myself and brought my laptop in case he'll be needing anything. On my way I met Maki, my friend who happens to be my co-worker in the company.

Hey Maks! San punta mo? I asked while entering the elevator.

Kay Mr. Robinson, pinapatawag dàw tayo. Naguguluhang sagot niya.

So alam niya na kaming dalawa.

Any idea? Anong meron? Kunot noong tanong ko rin pabalik sa kanya. Nagkibit balikat lang siya dahil parehas kaming walang idea kung bakit kami pinapatawag. Usually naman kasi kapag may meeting lang or may emergency. Wala akong maisip na dahilan kaya diretso na kaming pumunta sa office ng boss namin.

Okay I'll go straight to my agenda with you two. And I need your answers TODAY, and I mean TODAY is before you leave this place. (Stressing out the word today only means it must be very important), he seriously said to us making me feel uncomfortable because I felt something is not good. Have a seat please. He added.

Alright, so I called you because I want you two to go back to the Philippines.. He said and let out a sigh with a smile.

Shit! I thought so this isn't good..

What?! I said out of surprised or maybe because I wasn't really ready to hear those words from him. Maki on the other hand gave me soft kick on my foot upon seeing my reaction.

W-w-why all of a sudden Sir? Are you firing us? I asked because I wasnt certain what this is all about.

No, no no. Of course not. In fact I'm sending you there to work for me. He said with a hopeful look on his eyes.

What is it about us going there, if I may ask Sir? Paningit na sabi ni Maki habang tinitingnan niya ako ng matalim dahil alam kong alam niya na tutol ako sa idea na to.

Well you see, our company is envisioning to expand its wings in other parts of the world, and Asia is just one of our targets, you know that well Beatriz. He said to me so I nodded in approval. A new Aviation is fast emerging there and is expanding its horizon well too both local ang internarional. So I want us, the company to merge with them. He explained.
